They are trying to approve minting new Kleros coins (per the original plan to mint 1 billion), on schedule, because they need them for liquidity and incentives for their staff. On items in the Kleros Court a random selection or jurors will be picked, only they can vote for that court case. They will stake an amount of PNK and risk losing it if they pick a minority vote. This automatically weeds out people without knowledge about the subject and pays jurors.

This creates an actual incentive to be a juror if you're knowledgable about a certain subject, if this gets big, being a juror could technically become your job if you have a specific high-level skill (like blockchain expert at the moment)

Cheating the system becomes progressively harder and more expensive, likely even impossible at a 3rd appeal just due to the sheer size.

The White paper talks about this some more, I recommend reading it. Part 4.7 talks about prevention from bribery.

Its obviously still exploitable, but again only if the people have bad intentions from the start. I really find it hard to come up with a case where they would even consider teaming up, the financial incentive must come from outside and not from within Kleros. The court makes them money, but not enough that teaming up would benefit them.
Also again most jurors will not publish their contact information next to their wallet address, it takes a lot of time, planning and "hope" they can reach out to at least 51%+ of them.
