This moment is why you're doing Statera wrong if you don't utilize the pools. When it pumps, you park your STA/ETH into the pool. Then when it dumps, you unpool and grab a ton of extra STA for the next pump.

Rinse and repeat, anons. The ecosystem offers a lot more than just holding STA and bitching about price movements.

So let me get this straight Anon

1. STA pumps so you swap your DELTA tokens for more STA
2. STA dumps so you swap half your STA for Eth then enter pools?

Is that how you do it? Please explain I’m a brainlet trying to understand this project

>> No.21564768

>>21564658
Opposite. You want to pool STA after it pumps. This helps give you a higher percentage of the pool (ie, your STA is worth more). Then when the price dumps, your share of the pool is the same, but when you unpool, it has to give you a larger number of STA since the price went down.

Along the way the pool collects fees on each trade, adding them into the pool. So it increases the value of your share of the pool. STA wolume has been around $1 million/day this week, so lots of fees.

And remember, all this occurs while we burn tokens. There is constant activity in the STA ecosystem. I haven't even covered the BAL pool, which includes 40% Delta tokens. You can pool your pool share tokens. INCEPTION.

>> No.21564857

>>21564768
That’s insane. Don’t you need equal shares of ETH to pool? That’s what is budging me out of pooling currently.

I might consider on the next STA pump just swapping half of it for ETH to pool. That’s the first step right?

>> No.21564957

>>21564857
Although slightly less helpful to the ecosystem, you can also directly purchase Delta tokens with ETH or any other token (though slippage becomes a bitch if you try a less liquid one).

Buying Delta still entitles you to a share of the pool, so you can directly buy it rather than pooling equal STA/ETH, then when STA dumps, you can use those same Delta tokens to unpool STA and ETH.

Have to add this address to see your delta in metamask. You can't see the price though so just useful for quick reference. Once you actually do the process of pooling and unpooling once it will be super easy. How much of whatever you do is up to your discretion. Basically pool anytime you would normally sell because of a dump incoming and unpool at the bottom of the dump. That is IF you have a lot of faith in the project and don't want to earn ETH fees on the way up. See what I mean? its all up to you.

The more power Phoenix has, the more it can mitigate against big price movements, right?

If you pool and it pump your gains come out as ETH.

Example: STA is $10 and ETH is $10
You provide both equally to uniswap under "pool" and "add liquidity" which gives you a "delta token" which is 50/50 STA/ETH.

If STA goes to $20 but ETH still $10, then the bots sell $5 worth of STA to buy ETH so you have $15 STA and $15 ETH.

In a way it isn't if you are perfectly timed. Hedge funds exist because no one times the market perfectly everytime and it only takes one moon or dump mistske to lose your entire stack or be priced out. That is why bringing a decentralized hedge fund is helpful. There are other crypto hedge funds but they are not all ad decentralized and subject to manipulation and none of those have this built in deflationary mechanism which is a meme outside of this one instance as a balancing token. The idea is so stupidly simple yet revolutionary.

This is the basic answer. The advanced answer is:

Now imagine arbing bots all doing this for all STA. All that selling drops STA price a little but burns tokens so as you sell closer to 15 USD the amount you sell had to change as the price changed. Long term the burn also affects the price and minutely afters ETH price short term relative to STA. Imagine the opposite. ETH, LINK, BTC all pump and are sold for more STA meaning STA price goes up AND tokens are burned. There is also a price vibration which is an additional round or rounds of arbing and fees paid from the Phoenix fund and the Delta token. This leads to compounded compound fees and gains.
