21567686 No.21567686 [Reply] [Original]

It is constant, the worst will come from the people drawing lines in bold all caps text "I TOLD YOU SO".
The relentless barrage of half wits and moonboys swapping their golden ticket for literal trash because "the chart looks juicy".
I feel for you if you have actually been stupid enough to tell others about your get out of cage free card. Family comments can cut the deepest of all.
You have to understand that the entire space is full of a cancer, metastasizing too quickly and leaving rotten mutated cells in it's wake. The only effective treatment is to cut it all out at once and throw it into the garbage.
I do not believe that many of you Anons truly understand just how close we are to the true singularity. I will not be vague or speak in riddles, you do not need to roll trips for this information it is all out there and it has gotten to the point where we have put out so much disinformation it is difficult to actually see what it right in front of us.
This is something most of us know, but we rarely talk about.
SWIFT is currently running a Hyperledger subnet, a kind of personal Fabric network. They have multiple endpoints in this network one of them is even ingesting rolling build output directly from the Develop branch on Github.
In November 2020 all banks using swift will be required to use the new ISO 20022 standard, this migration is not something any of them can opt out of. Part of this migration will be the transfer of the vast majority of the incentive Chainlink tokens to back their nodes. The initial rollout will not be tied into ETH in any meaningful way, some data feeds will be stored there for integrations and staking will be tied in to ensure data quality internally.
The network will still be running real Chainlink Oracles though backed by Chainlink tokens, it is blockchain agnostic for a reason and hooking into a private Hyperledger network is no different than Ropsten.

South Korea was the first public bone thrown to the Chainlink team, a kind of production proving ground to back real crypto custody and flush out any price feed issues. I do not have any special insider information on when this kind of information will be made public, though I suspect Smartcon will provide further insight.
If you are hard up for money or you are an active daytrader then do what you will with your tokens. When this type of information goes fully mainstream in a delivery format that they can actually digest the demand for Chainlink will be astronomical.
The data flowing through this new financial web will fuel the entire market, this is not just simple cross border bank to bank transfers we are talking about. They have been writing financial instruments into Solidity for years now. Part of moving money around is you never let it not make you more money when it is sitting somewhere. Money has velocity and it never goes unused at this scale, Chainlink will be automating it all in a trustless manner with complete transparency to it's vested parties.

Undervalued thread. Thank you, Anon. I must ask, though- I thought the Swift partnership was debunked? Or is that more fud? I was told repeatedly that Swift is not 'parterned' with link and that it's merely a PoC that may not even get used beyond something interesting for nerds to poke at. Am I tard, or am I missing something?

Not trying to FUD, I am legit asking.

It is confusing, the "debunking" as you put it was the R3 Corda project meant to be backed by Ripple.
But unlike Chainlink Swift actually had a complete breakdown of negotiations due to RippleNet being a direct competitor.
Since that time they have not changed course and still are going live in November with price reference feed oracles that are described as decentralized.

Looking forward to smartcon. Gotta Quarantine from work for the next couple of weeks. I had a scary dream that LINK plummeted to $5 and the only thing I could think of was to buy more. Ive been in the game since sept 2017 buying in at seventeen cents a goddamn token. Im all in baby no matter what happens. This is a project you want to HOLD for as long as fucking possible. The most of my stack I will ever fucking sell is 10%. Just depends on how staking goes.

Considering how new this space is I have been thinking about coding on solidity. Imagine if you were able to create a Chainlink node for a popular video game like Dota, DFO, TF2, etc. They have already came up with a smart betting system for Path of Exile powered by Chainlink.

It is also important to note the "Flare Network" and it's timing is not a coincidence. The announcement and unorthodox full media blitz from Ripple was in response to them learning how far along and how much Swifts next gen protocol was going to leverage smart contracts.
This was the key talking point in the industry, that Ripple simply lacked the basic tools needed to write effective automated financial instruments.
Ripple is in the end just a ledger with metadata attached to it, the escrow system it designed as a stop gap to fill basic needs was not complex enough to do much more than hold and release funds. It is also not inherently trustless. Which when talking about two parties and huge sums of money is truly invaluable.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand how Chainlink works. Its superiority is only hinted very subtle, and without a solid dose of advanced autism most of the Lambos will go over a typical investors head. There's also Sergey Nazarova very nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from /biz/ shitposting.
The real frens understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this coin, to realize that it’s not just funny- it also says something deep about society.
As a consequence people who don’t trust Chainlink truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the genius in Nazarov iconic catchphrase "Get in here faggot, we’re gonna save the blockchain," which itself is a cryptic reference to the Russian epic 'Crime and Punishment' or the struggle of life itself.
