Statera itself wasn't hacked - the Balancer Pool which had it (and BTC, LINK, SNX & Eth in) was exploited, and had 500k removed.
The Balancer Pool guys admitted fault and are in the process of refunding the 4 non-Sta tokens (now worth ~$1.6 mill!). The Sta team then decided to also refund the remaining 20% of Sta (even though they didn't have to) because they're absolutely based as fuck.

Without a doubt, it is fair to say that the cryptocurrency market exhibits many of the behavioural traits you can expect to find in ponzi or pyramid schemes. However bitcoin is distinguished from these schemes through several primary aspects, explored in detail below.

There is no central entity or individual behind the operation of bitcoin
There is no fixed or periodic return guarantee
There is no reward structure for recruitment
The function, operation and potential of the network is open and transparent
Value is dependant on price discovery across many global markets, not from a centralised entity.

>it's a ponzi
No, it's an index fund balancer. It isn't meant to provide guaranteed monster returns, but rather consistent reliable returns. These are based on the crypto market at large, and not some invisible source as with a ponzi scheme.

>Devs will exit scam
They only own a small percentage and it has been audited.

>PnD is over
STA has pumped multiple times and is still young, retaining value around 30C

>deflationary coins are a meme
The deflation is just a mechanism to facilitate balancing of any index affiliated with the STA ecosystem. It isn't the primary draw.

Its all about risk management. Pooling is a more safe bet since you are betting on more than 1 asset and you also get passive income. Holding just STA is high risk since you are holding 100%, but it could pay more if STA moons. Personaly im really bullish on Statera so im just pooling 10% right now. The higher the volume the more amount of fees that your pool will generate since it is serving its liquidity to make those trades happen.
