This is really what I was saying before. Chainlink is not a single oracle provider, it is a network of oracles. No alternative is needed to have multiple providers as a customer can pick as many Chainlink nodes as they feel they need. Band on the other hand can only ever be one provider because all the nodes need to have the same information to be picked randomly, see the Medium link I posted above. Are you even sure how Band works? Nevermind Chainlink.

Link is the default provider, just compare the number and scale integrations and partnerships.

Different Chainlink node operators can provide redundancy, they can also act independently. Remember it is a network provider not a single product. Band cannot as all nodes must have the same data because the random method by which nodes are picked makes it necessary.
Also another thing, if all data on the Band network is stored on the Band blockchain, how do you deal with the network getting increasingly clogged down over time? It's not a problem currently because no one is using the network lol.
