I was often on /pol/ during the 2016 election and started visiting /biz/ when the crypto market started taking off in 2017. I was a terrible trader but bought into the LINK hype. Now I own a nice stack of LINK. I really owe /biz/ and AssBlaster a big thank you. My life is about to really change and it's kind of mind blowing.

LTC in 2013. I was here when we broke off from /g/

I first got into crypto way before I stumbled upon /biz/ and before/biz/ even existed, but sadly my story has not included getting filthy rich (yet). I bought some bitcoin in December 2013 basically at the top ($870, I thought I was buying the dip but it just dumped more after that). Also mined some meme coins like Dogecoin and Coinye West on my shitty laptop just for fun. After getting dumped on I checked the price every few months from 2014-2016 and saw it going lower and lower and felt like I got scammed. Was fucking around lurking different 4chan boards and found /biz/ and saw a bunch of shitcoin shills so I stayed away. Didn't get back into crypto until April or May 2017 when I saw the price of BTC was way over its previous ATH and that I was in the green. So I checked my cuckbase account which still had my coins on it and sure enough I could have cashed out my shitty $200 investment for a small profit. I put a few hundred dollars into BTC, LTC and ETH. probably $500 total. That's when I started really trying to learn about crypto, how it works and why it's important. I was still a coinbase normie but I came back to /biz/ to see what people were talking about. That's when I went all the way down the rabbit hole and I've been here ever since. I learned how to use a hardware wallet and got my coins off cuckbase and started dabbling with trading on other exchanges. I still haven't made it yet but through trial and error I have gotten up to a near $100k portfolio and am fully expecting to become a millionaire in the next few years.
