Yeah they're enormous. People bitch because there are a lot of restrictions coinbase puts in so they remain complaint with government laws and regulations.

If you want to get an account with them you really need to do it months before you plan to really trade.

they still charge way the fuck too much in fees and will stealth hike their rates on you, but w/e i guess. gotta get jewed somewhere down the line on my way out the revolving USDoor

It's not that they're scammy or anything (at least not in my experience) its just that they are slow when it comes to issuing coins after payment has been received. Then again I've only ever done bank transfers and I hear credit/debit cards are faster (but with a higher fee). But that's just my 2 cents.
