Two reasons. 1st It's a better token than ETH. 2nd it has broken out and is in the stage where institutions are starting to trade it to make some money. The next phase is the retail customer wanting in on the action to spike the token to ETH levels. Then the early birds will make big cashouts, then the institutional investeros will make big cash outs, and retail buyers (normies) will try to limit their losses. The same thing happened to BTC, ETH, XMR, LTC, and a few others.

I see. Thank you. That helps a lot to know. To be honest, it feels kind of surreal to think literal millionaires care about what happens in a crypto board on 4chan of all things but I believe it. Link, for example, feels like a cult at this point. I think a lot of people have actually bought in to the iron hands never selling meme and they will be the ones providing liquidity for the whales when they inevitably cash out.
