At this point we all know LINK’s power and that just the price of it alone will make people on this board millionaires for holding 10k, maybe even 1k. Which is awesome.
What I’m worried about is how staking will work. I’m an amerifat so I couldn’t get into Linkpool. Will the rest of us generate any kind of substantial passive income? I don’t want to sell my LINKies, I want to live off staking. And from what I’ve heard it seems like Linkpool is going to mog those of us who stake individually.

LP I believe is more like an actual company, their tokens are more akin to shares and the initial sale was to front them capital to build their staking platform. Thus you have partial ownership of said platform and reap the staking rewards indefinitely should they succeed (as you receive a share of all profit proportionate to the number of tokens you hold). It’s also a mechanism for gating in the early stakers, as jobs will be limited and competitive in the early days and LP naturally wants to onboard its holders first and let others in once the network has expanded to accommodate more jobs

At the crowdsale we bought 1LP for 1 eth closing of the crowdsale, 1 eth was worth around 450 dollars. Right now at the price of 120eth/LP, 1 LP is ~46800. Thats a x102. At that time link was around 28 cents. Going all the way to 18 dollars now thats a x64. Keep in mind tho that LP's lack of liquidity would fuck up your average sell price if you would want to exit totally in one go.
