Eat less. Find a way to stay away or from wandering into the kitchen. If you're only /kind of fat/ then it shouldn't take too long to reverse it.

Exercise as well - I got a VR set for beatsaber and that goes well for me, cycling too. If you don't like the pain caused by some activities find other activities you like to replace them but make sure you seek them out. I'm a chan virgin so I can't speak much for going to the gym, but so long as you can run and lift a reasonable amount of weight you're golden. They won't fault you as long as you're not obese and you put in the effort.
