Serious answer here. Start rolling it into stable, cash producing assets a bit at a time. Boomer blue chips with dividends, tax free Muni binds, real estate, etc. Derisk until you are about 2/3 stable cash producing assets and a third highly speculative. You made it anon. But making it and keeping it are two different games. If you do it right, you will be able to go on vacation for 3 months and come back with more money than you had before, completely risk free.

Easy for you to say, I was just getting my business off the ground and my pay has literally ben cut in half. Don't quality for any government assistance at all, because my company refused temp layoffs. This temporary problem sure seems to stick around for a long fucking time, I'm probably older than you and my bank account is currently in the negative despite working 5 days a week, without vacation since I was 14 years old..

for anyone in a similar situation, if you do not currently go outside often you should look into fly fishing, it is very soothing and worth enjoying while we still can
