With the slate of much more pressing issues and problems I seriously doubt crypto will be the subject of any discussion in this decade.

Changes to the capital gains tax, which would apply to capital assets like crypto, should be expected regardless of which party is in control, however, taxing these distributions would amount to a tax on savers and investors. Its just not going to happen.

at the higher levels of the government they don't really care about crypto, the only one who cares is the IRS and SEC because they want a piece of the pie. bitcoin has been around for awhile and the two presidents who have presided in the age of bitcoin have barely talked about it. dont think obama mentioned bitcoin very much publically, trump only said he doesnt like it because it can compete with the US dollar and can be used for illicit purposes the same stuff all old people say. and i doubt trump has thought much about bitcoin, let alone ethereum or blockchain as a whole. ditto for biden and kamala.

there are groups that are pro-crypto that are working with the government to get good regulation and i think the one that works closest with government is the chamber of digital commerce so follow them for more detailed info on what the government is thinking about cryptos and blockchain.

I’ve lived in one of the only genuinely conservative Midwest states (Indiana) my whole life and have spent a lot of time in our neighbor states of Michigan and Ohio, as well as Wisconsin. Ohio has a shot at staying red. Michigan and Wisconsin are Proto-Canadian faggots who LARP as hardline conservatives on /pol/ but are actually all Lutheran niggerlovers. Even the whites with semi-conservative social views vote Dem because daddy told them bedtime stories about how great Unions are and that you have to vote for whoever the union boss says to vote for. They didn’t want to vote trump, they just didn’t want to vote Hillary.
I will eat my hat if Wisconsin or Michigan stays red. Pennsylvania I can’t speak to.

Like, here, if Hillary won and I told you an investigation objectively confirmed:
David Brock was taking French money.
The Clinton Foundation received a donation from BNP Paribas.
Le Monde published a scathing expose of Trump violating NYC building codes.
And ALL the Bernouts suddenly lined up and voted blue the moment the convention was over.

Would you flip your shit at the nefarious French conspiracy? Start calling Hillary Madame Napoleon? Demand her immediate resignation and and overturning of anything she does in office? Of course not. Because that would be insane.

It really doesn't make any sense. But then again, neither does putting up Alzheimer Joe in the first place. Normal the bought-and-paid-for ultra-shill VP is saved for when there's a dark horse ""outsider"" candidate and they make a deal to have the establishment dude in there as VP. But Biden is already establishment as it gets. And Kamala isn't even from another "wing" of the democrats like with bernie or warren. Generally with VPs you pick someone more sensible and moderate because now you're trying to appeal to the general public rather than to more hardline primary voters.

the only possible explanation for Kamala is that they're so confident Biden will win that they're just using his assured victory as a lock to put whoever the hell they want into office, because we all know that Biden will croak within 6 months max after inauguration.

None of it, that's my point. But if we really need an excuse for why Trump lost to that version of Hillary, we'd invest a ton of emotional energy in believing it. We'd *have* to think Hollande was out there pulling some invisible strings.

You're a smoothbrain if you honestly think that ANY american politician wouldn't try to stop crypto from ruining america's place as world hegemon through use of the dollar. Nothing happened under obama because normalfags and boomers weren't paying attention at all to crypto until 2017.

The only actual difference between either side when it comes to crypto is the capital gains tax rate. Everything else regulation-wise is a wash because it'd be the same stuff lobbied by the same longnose tribe bankers regardless.

Anon you need to stop drinking the koolaid that the dems are drinking. Whatever polls and data they collected were bad. Mainstream media and academia literally has lost all credibility after 2016. I don't remember anyone in real life around me having a good actual opinion on Hillary but the general consensus was "doesn't matter Hillary was going to win." A lot of people didn't even vote because they were so sure she would win to.

to be fair though, the issue wasn't as simple as "they did bad polls". The problem stems from how polls are conducted, where they scale results based on what percentage of each party they think will show up at the polls, based on previous election data. The problem with this is that if you have a candidate like 2016 trump that had a message completely unlike the neoconservatives before, they can't use past voter turnout to accurately map that, but they did anyway because there was nothing else.

And as a result, the polls weren't inaccurate EVERYWHERE. They were inaccurate in specific areas where Trump's nationalist message resonated the most. In particular, the rust belt. In places like Nevada and Colorado, the polls were accurate.

for more info on this I'd highly recommend checking out Ryan Faulk's videos/articles on the 2016 election and "the monster vote". Faulk and Sean Last had the most accurate and data-driven predictions for that election.

I think a big problem is a lot of Trump voters aren't the type to do polls. From the data its clear the average Trump voter is a white working class person who didn't got to college.

That doesn't sound like the type of person who does political polling.

We will witness great strides in the prevention of police brutality against people of color
Racism will once again seem wrong
White Supremacists will go back to their shadows
The decriminalization of drugs
No more illegal seizure of undocumented people, and we won’t see concentration camps set up to separate families
Affordable healthcare and college

And again most importantly, small dick tiny hands spray on tan Botox comb over drumpf will be removed and cry on Twitter like he usually does.

That doesn't actually matter. Sample different demographic sets separately and then scale them based on projected turnout based on past years. It causes issues, but not that particular one. Trump voters being less likely to respond to polls doesn't cause a skew like what you're describing. There are other issues, but that's not one.

And of course, this is all in regards to 2016. You know, back when everyone in the establishment thought there was no way he would win, so they didn't even entertain the possibility. Well obviously that's no longer the case, so this time they very well could be straight-up lying on polls and all that sort of thing to spread FUD. It's all up in the air.

Ignoring polls, I just don't even see how Biden could possibly win. He's not inspiring at all. But then again, lots of people came out in droves to vote for hilldog despite her being a massively unlikable cunt, so who knows.

>That 90% of the CIA or NSA would have leaked any scrap of helpful information to his team, yes?

First CIA and NSA do intel work on foreign threats. Its why the whole Snowden and FISA abuse shit was a big deal.

Second every employee that has stepped forward to report shady shit on Trump or staff that makes sure no waste, fraud, and abuse is going on has been fired, shuffled around, or removed entirely.

All administrations shit on whistle blowers so no point bringing them up.
