Presumably it would initially go down following election day, as it usually does upon a democratic victory, but it would recover a few months after inauguration, assuming Biden doesn't go full socialist.

What if Biden doesn't make Jerome play ball like Trump? What if he replaces him with someone who's actually responsible in the long term and Fed policy changes? Printer stops and interest rates go up, what then?

>> No.21285490

It doesn't matter trump will win in landslide

>> No.21285678

Probably nothing. Maybe it'll dip a little, but Biden is senile and has wall street's hand up his ass. Also the American form of government makes any sort of change incredibly slow and difficult.

>>21285237
I really don't see why people on both the left and right refer to gibs me dats from the government as socialism. Socialism is just when the workers own the businesses or "means of production" in commie lingo. Gibs is more like what Sw*den and Norgay are so proud of which is "social democracy." Maybe I am just autismax about words but it bothers me a little.

Unironically they're currently saying they'll vote for nobody because of harris. Since they're already known for being unvoters, this works just as planned for trumpistans.

>Biden doesn't go full socialist
Biden isn't socialist. You're on drugs if you think this. He's a standard politician who accepts donations from billionaires, so he'll operate under their interests... Just like Trump. These politicians love to play games. Honestly, you're better off voting for whomever is funniest. Trump has dimentia and doesn't care about anything. Biden also has dimentia but he has an even shorter fuse than Trump. They're both really similar.
>They both love getting money from Jewish millionaires and would do anything to appeal to them.
>They're both for heavy militarization.
>They're both pro-law enforcement. Yes, even Biden. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar or doesn't know Biden at all. He wrote the 1994 Crime Bill. Trump dreams he was as much of a hawk as Biden.
Biden's also gone on record to say that he wants to add $300 million of funding towards the police in response to BLM looters. He'll be far tougher than Trump on this aspect.

The real problem is not blue voters turning red, it's blue voters not showing up at all. Calling it. Cali turns red.

>> No.21286528

Also both biden and harris are known to be extremely pro-"law" (where law, of course, means justice for me but not for thee). Think more police state than socialism. Then again those aren't necessarily disconnected I suppose.

This.

You think these politicians are going to stop the fed from printing or Congress from spending? Impossible and undesirable.

They won’t even tax the way they’re saying they will, they’ll be desperate to keep the economy from exploding.

My honest opinion:
I do not know the answer.
If my scenario is rather accurate, then no one, not you, not me, will be selling any of the stock we might own ever again. Maybe in emergencies, but "cashing out" won't me no more. By that time cash will literally be a toxic asset. Most people won't ever reach the sky high asking prices people will ask for worldly things like land and real estate even with their stock gains.
In theory, either dividend paying stocks (sector or "basket" ETFs rather than single companies which at one point can say "lol nope fuck investors no dividends anymore") or any other sort of regularly cash flow producing assets like rented out real estate will be king imo.
We might be lucky to get stock/equity leasing through brokers at meaningful rates. So you earn a cash profit for lending out your shares and the broker takes the risk.

Are you joking? Do you know where you are? BITCOIN. It's far, far away from being fully capitalized, and in four years it will be twice as scarce as gold. (Gold currently has something like a 9 trillion dollar marketcap. Bitcoin sits around 200 billion.)

Buy Bitcoin, hold some of it forever. You will make it. Leave the boomers to their stocks.
