The people who already own shares will get 5 shares per 1 they own.
Stock splits are just a way to opening up more shares for more trading. In particular, it makes it more reasonable to trade options on the stock (current values are pretty fucking ridiculous, like tens of thousands of dollars for a single option.)
This really shouldn't affect your view on TSLA at all. If you think they're a good stock, buy. If not, avoid.
