Any of LINKlets who don't have 10K LINK to stake really should go all Trustswap. Right now you can buy SWAP at under .50c this will be the last week you can buy SWAP this cheap. Official staking and main net are coming this month. Test net and test staking are happening right now and you can start right now if you wanted. SWAP has been in the trending searches almost daily for the last month on coingecko. SWAP hasn't had a major pump like every other defi coin out and has grown in a organic way about 8%-10% weekly since it dropped a month ago. There is no "they", the percent will depend on how much people using smart contract are paying node operators, and what share node operators are giving to the stackers.

If the return happen to be 10% everybody will buy like, rising the price and making the relative % lower.
If the return is just 1% with no foreseeable room for growth then people will sell link, lowering the price and rising the %

The 35% incentive pool will be the most important aspect of the tokenomics as it'll be the "baseline interest rate" for link. Sergey will determine the emission schedule but nobody knows the exact number yet.
What we know is that link being a demand based staking and not your regular block time based staking out there makes the annual return hard to predict. Also link lending will be competing with baseline interest rate so it'll be a highly complex game.

No real risk, but staking is 1 or 5 parameters that determine your reputation, which is what allows you go get the higher valeu jobs e.g better return.

However, thanks to the wonderful world of DeFi, Linkies can make decent/better/worse passive income fo contributing to impremanenet-loss migitated pools such as V2, or general yielding.

I'm sure there will be sites set up where you can "stake for nothing" whereas they'll take your LINK to increase their reputation or get requests that are profitable on their own inhouse infrastructure or Linkpool's NaaS (score 1 for LP holders). You'll essentially be lending out your LINK under the guise of staking, but you'll get a much lower % fo the profit than what you would get if you did it yourself or via linkpool (but that has the cost of owning expensive LP shares). Don't worry, there will be fucking plenty of avenues for linkies to earn passive income. V2 has me getting 6 LINK per day doing absolutely nothing, or yielding on ylink.io for YFL. Hell, even simple AAVE deposits return aroudn 1.9% APR (irrelevant) for doing nothing. If I was you, I would start learning about more ways to take advantage of this. If you think you and every other coinbase-LINK buyer who bought above >2 USD is just gonna sitback and roll in a lovely 8% APR you are very wrong lol. Don't be passive here anon.
