Listened to a podcast with schiff last night/this morning. Not impressed.

His assertions seem to be faith-based. He claims “they can’t kick the can down the road any longer” and while I think there’s a greater than 30% chance he’s completely correct, and also a good chance he’s partially correct, there’s really not much to this.

He also ruined his own argument a bit by claiming the QE of the past 10 years didn’t cause real inflation and the negatice consequences he predicted because “the central bank said everything was working and everyone believed them.”

If all it takes to keep the game going is to convince the people that the emperor is clothed, there’s nothing fundamental to indicate that won’t be true in the future. People are still very, VERY malleable. Look at the shit people are worrying about these days. They’re getting upset over professional athletes kneeling for the national anthem, and they’re pissed that people are standing for the national anthem.

Unless the rest of the world has citizens that are keenly aware of monetary issues, that’s not a very convincing

(((How))) indeed? They're fighting over that $30 like their fortunes depend on it. It costs them a lot of money and silver, but they know it's over if they can't wait it out to the end of lockdowns. The demand for physical delivery overwhelmed them, it wasn't supposed to happen.
Expect a very strong and coordinated anti-silver push in American media soon. I bet they'll call us Alt-Right Neo-Nazis who want to break away from the democratic Fiat system.

I agree with your assessment somewhat. The masses "waking up" has never happened and will never happen. Like you said, people are far too easily controlled. They will care when it means they haven't eaten in a whole 8 hours because the food stores are bare, but they'll just blame "capitalism" and conclude we need "socialism" in order to avoid it happening again.

Like other anons, I believe this financial collapse will simply pave the way for a socialist tyranny. I mean full-blown socialism, not the soft socialism we have in the US today. The masses don't have to be aware of the weakness of the dollar for it to collapse, only institutional investors do.

Last crisis, it wasn't actually as bad as we thought. Yes, it was a liquidity problem, but central banks figured out that just flat out providing liquidity sorted that out. The Fed still had some wiggle room. We thought it was a debt trap, but it was only the beginnings. Now we are well and truly in a debt trap. There's not even the hope of allowing rates to rise nor removing free liquidity. Things should accelerate from here. Sure, it may take a decade, but the dollar's days are numbered at this point. Yes, inflation is higher than CPI and yes, it is absolutely going higher. The problem now is yield curve control WITH the abandoning of the Fed inflation target. The Fed will announce the change in September, but they are already doing it. So significant negative interest rates will drive institutional money out of Treasuries and into Gold and other assets. This isn't going to reverse. The only hope they have, and this is what they are doing, is trying to inflate the debt away like during/after WWII. The problem is that we were the only game in town after the war and the world just had to deal with it. That's not the case anymore. Schiff's analysis is severely lacking, but he's right about Gold, even if for the wrong reasons.

I mean, he's more right than wrong about US outlook and the actual returns you'll get over longer terms from stocks (compared to gold). The dumbest part is that he tells people to invest in foreign equities markets to hedge the dollar, but half of those countries have economies equally or more fucked up. His argument about rate normalization in the past 10 years is 100% correct. Everyone accepts rates will never be normalized unless the gun is to the Fed's head. The part where he's wrong is that the Fed would never hike rates if faced with the possibility of total monetary collapse. Unless "Biden" wins and appoints MMT advocates, they'd start hiking rates eventually even if they waited for CPI to reach 15% before they did.

He's still pretty much the smartest PM media personality that doesn't just focus on metal market technicals (not a high bar).

What do you think is going to happen with cryptocurrency/blockchain tech and PMs supposing COMEX implodes, the dollar gets divided by zero, and trust in establishment banks, oversight apparatuses, etc. evaporates? Could we see a world in which bitcoin et al are priced in gold/silver and new exchange vaults are created by individuals along with independent auditing groups who all report through the blockchain to establish trust? Are things going to go so far that current mail systems are no longer trusted and a new courier industry rises to meet the demands of those swapping crypto and PMs?
If the current monetary, financial, and economic order collapses, I can't see governments leaving alone those who are trying to protect their wealth and trade freely in the new world.

hollow core interior doors.
many interior doors, like closet doors, bathroom, bedroom doors are "hollow core"
they are made of thin door skins on the face. the inside is mostly hollow with some thin lightweight rib framing on the inside between the outer skins, to give it some strength and rigidity

well, one could router or drill out an opening in the top edge of the door which would allow you to drop stuff down inside the door. whos going to get a step ladder so they can stand up high enough to look at the top of your door?
what theif is going to go around searching your doors, from the top?

It's not about regular consoomers losing faith in the USD it's about other countries losing faith. The USD was an ugly necessity for a lot of years and it worked because other countries had faith that it was worth something internationally. There are a lot of things Schiff says that I disagree with but his analysis on why things are different this time seems pretty level headed and far from sensationalist. There are some very smart people who are extremely worried about what the outcome of this strategy looks like.

this is the best one available at the moment, most other starter kits are out of stock right now, try googling local prospecting supplier shops they carry everything you need. https://www.amazon.ca/Garrett-Metal-Detectors-Gold-Pan/dp/B000GFQ61G?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1

According to my calculations, January 11p @ 0.04 has best returns at any price between $0-$10.96

Is there any reason why you went with $8/$9?

Ye. It's too powerful as a political tool. I would imagine the countries that use it out of necessity are not particularly thrilled with that power dynamic. They'll only be sad to see it fall because they hold so much of our debt, not because they think it's a good system.

Invest in some miners too. They can moon 5x to 50x when gold and silver goes up another 100%

Also they'll finally cough up proper dividends after returning losses for nearly a decade

Thanks mate! The Garrett AT seems to be in stock here, might buy one and a gold pan kit with tax return money.

I didn't calculate a spread, just went with $9 calls at $0.03 because that seemed optimal. You'll want to check the ask price of the $11 calls too, I don't recall if they were going for $0.04, or if that was simply the mark.

I'm only using them to hedge in case the rug pulls before I sell my calls, but oh boy, if you're crazy enough to bet huge on a comex default and SLV literally going to zero, you could make some huge fucking money here.

do your research, 90% of prospecting is looking at old records of areas and trying to figure out where others havent been. Look for places that are a pain in the ass to reach and learn there. Also practice with the detector in your back yard or at a park, once you learn what a bullet or bit of random scrap metal sounds like compared to PMs you will do far better.
