is it based to have a large plot of land and raise animals and food?

What a stupid question

It's dangerously based.
Just don't be a fucking idiot and build a massive mansion in a rural area. That's just asking for it. Self sufficiency, and owning land mortgage free will ensure that you don't become one of the worker drones confined to the cities.

Yes it's truly the patricians choice

Something along those lines is what me and my partner are dreaming of and working towards right now, and thanks to crypto it could be a reality soon.

Yep big time. Make sure you are in an isolated area far away from any city and in a white community. Best way to raise a family and be okay if shit hits the fan

not if no one can see your house through the trees.

Very. Living off the land is the most based thing possible in an ultra consumer world.

based and tedpilled tbqh. My dream scenario if I make it is to buy a large plot of rural land with enough for subsistence-level living and enough solar panels to be completely energy independent. And hopefully we'll reach the point where cell data plans are good enough where it wouldn't even need cable internet. I want to be in a scenario where the entire world could burn and I'd still be okay.

What happens when someone delivers your furniture, or the local tradies who built your house talk, or the asshole who delivers your propane starts jawwin' about your mansion to the boys.
People talk in rural areas, best to keep a low profile: something someone on a $90-100k a year salary could afford and nothing more.

Its a LOT of work, but ya it is pretty based. I would only do it if I have already made it and can afford to pay a staff of 3 or 4 to maintain the property and look after the animals. I didn't grow up on a farm, but the vast majority of my family are farmers (I've spent many summers as a kid on quite a few of my aunts/uncles farms).

But ya, if you don't have the means to pay people to do the actual farming, don't underestimate the work involved. Also don't underestimate the cost of all the equipment and tools you'll have to buy, all the buildings you'll need made, trees you'll need cleared, etc. Lotta fucking work

Having it be a lot of work is actually a good thing. I think one of the problems with modern society is that our jobs either provide literally no real value or the value we provide is so divorced from the end product that it may as well not exist.

What men yearn for is to put in work and actually (and in this case literally) reap the fruits of their labor.
