Best idea if you have no friends is to join a sport so you can meet people there.
The way I made a lot of new friends was by turning to Christianity in 2017. I already had my own group of friends but I had so much free time suddenly (stopped working) that I joined a church and started reading the bible. There were very enjoyable people there. Eventually I got asked to join for dinner by some people there I really connected with, and they actually were setting me up with their daughter. I'm married now. Now I've got to say I don't really believe in the bible, but the community really made my life complete. Plus I would never have met my wife if I didn't.
