With no material mandates nor testing the very idea that this has already been accepted as new normal and will probably be permanent in many parts of the country is deeply troubling for the health of the American way of life. Random shit that they made up on the spot has been taken as gospel.

It struggles my brain to understand why people don't stop to wonder if random pieces of pillow case were actually greatly effective, why haven't we been doing this for decades? Because as it turns out, they DID case studies on all this many decades ago and the transmission rates were within margin of error - there was no measurable difference.

For offices it's just half assed liability dodging. They mainly want to avoid the prospect of employee catching the coof at office and suing them because they didn't take measures to prevent virus spread in workplace. However, by not going all the way and supplying and requiring N95 masks/ gloves/goggles, they're still a bit vulnerable to that. Not in all countries but I could see a lawsuit like that happening in the US pretty easily, probably with some kind of settlement conclusion.

TFSAs are a recent thing. Government-wise, it's a blunder, since it is the one and only good thing the people has ever been allowed to have (obviously it wasn't on purpose).
Before that we only had RRSPs which are similar to 401k's I think. You can take the money out (including gains) anytime, but you pay income tax on whatever you get out (in exchange the money you put in is tax-free), and there's a very low limit to how much you can put every year. You are allowed to trade any way you like in an RRSP, but in a TFSA you aren't allowed to trade at all, just invest. The CRA will go after you if you make real money and you have been doing more than buying and holding.

RRSPs are more tax deferrals, best to use them when you have a high income.

If your income is 100K and you put in 15K in and RRSP - your income is calculated like you only earned 85K

Later in life when you retire you withdraw from your RRSP and pay income tax on that (at a lower rate than what you 'saved' at your 100K salary)

18% of your income up to ~26K is the RRSP limit, pretty decent amount for most people seeing what the median income is.

TFSAs are a better solution for people until they start making more money to max that out and put the rest into RRSPs

>taxes are raised further on those that actually make money resulting in said tax base either fleeing or having less children, causing a negative feedback loop such as what you find in places like Detroit
>government takes out loans to pay for gibs programs (see Puerto Rico and Illinois)
>government prints money to pay for gibs programs. Not quite there yet, but we're pretty fucking close to actual money printing. 100% historical failure rate.
Something like 1 in 3 of all welfare recipients in the country live in California, the overwhelming majority of which Mexican/Squatamalan peasant who are either here illegally, or within a generation of being here illegally. Well those retards in Sacramento decided it was a good idea to build a fucking bullet train in a state that suffers from constant earthquakes instead of finishing the next stage of the California water project, so now even Big Agriculture is fucked. The central valley (where pretty much all the country's fruit and nuts are grown) is sinking several feet a year because the underground aquifers are being depleted faster than they can be replenished. Every year, thousands of Californians that live in the interior of the state are having to pay $30,000+ bills to have their wells redug, meanwhile those literal faggots in LA steal the rest of the states water, and have the gall to bitch at almond farmers for using up too much water where there fucking city would only be able to support 100,000 people maximum if they had to rely on their own aquifers. And replace them with what? I don't know if you've noticed this, but ALL politicians on both sides of the aisle (inb4 weak centrist) treat the rest of us like garbage. They're all living it up in their fancy mansions away from Joe Schmo Public, they siphon tax money away to take elaborate vacations, they engage in nepotism, kickbacks, you name it. Trump was supposed to be the anti-politician, but he's the same ole shit too. Trying to scare us with "New York Elites" when he's the biggest New York Elite there is. So uncovered calls are a very risky but potentially amazing source of income, aren't they?
And while the risk IS theoretically infinite, it's not really as dangerous as it seems, is it? I was looking at AAPL and I'm thinking 400 is fair price for them come election time considering Biden and Trump will both try to outdo the other with protecting the consumer from "big bad tech companies." Plus there's all the concerns with Europe and their privacy laws. And that's ignoring the massive bear in the china shop that is, well, China.
So I could sell an uncovered call on AAPL for, say, $450@18DEC, collect that 3800ish premium and so long as it doesn't breach $488 I keep that premium right? Or would I end up collecting only a portion of the premium?

I have been doing well, 8k capitol and 50 dollars away from 9k total. Lost all my gains in corona, got them all back, lost them again, and finally settled on a method I feel climbs more steadily. 2 year account, and WFH has allowed me to get a ton of screen time. I made more in 5 months tan the previous 2 years of owning the account. I am thinking of opening an experimental account with like 2k. In this account I would invest the entire 2k in a stock, then as soon as a decent gain is made, sell 2k worth, and continue that forever leaving little bastard children everywhere. But it sound too messy to do in my main account.

My other idea is to throw 5k in a slow to recover bluechip and sell covered calls, then take the premuim and funnel it into shitcoin ponzi schemes. I think the crypto cult has at least one more big pump before the rug pull.
