I will start with Zclassic (ZCL), the infamous fork of Zcash (ZEC). The project has been revived about six months ago by three developers incorporated under the name of "Zclassic Labs". After its historical rally mid-2018 ($200), the project has completely bottomed out at $0.20 following waves and waves of capitulation. Zclassic is essentially Zcash but without its most controversial aspects: there are no dev-tax, no set of central entities exercising special power over the network, and the emission schedule sticks to Bitcoin's. Here is my thesis: Zcash is posed to breakout after a three year long bear that was partly due to its high inflation rate (30%) and to the sell pressure created by its primary caretaker (ECC/ZFoundation). They have solved the main roadblocks to the adoption of shielded transaction ("z2z") cutting the time and cost to generate a transaction by several orders of magnitude. It used to take +5 minutes with a quadcore + 8Gb of RAM to generate a shielded transaction. Today a phone can create one in less than a second. The Zcash breakout will attract a lot of attention to its sister decentralized project. We know that forks usually trade at a discount from their alt. Here the ratio between ZCL/ZEC price is enormous ($0.2 vs ~$100). This is extremely OVERSOLD. My thesis is that with interest in Zcash picking-up we will see the ratio normalize to something more reasonable. That alone provides an excellent opportunity to get rich. The multiplicators I have in mind are x50 to x100. If they seem crazy, keep in mind that it would put ZCL at barely $20 and a top-50 project. You can put the proceedings in whatever project you like best, whether it is LINK, XMR, ZEC, BTC, ETH.

That's part one of my investment thesis in Zclassic. The second part revolves around their imminent (a few weeks to a month?) listing on Uniswap. The Z Labs developers are working on a Cosmos bridge that will allow interoperability with Ethereum. For the oldfags among us, this is essentially a practical implementation of atomic swaps between Zclassic and Ethereum. In line with that effort, Zclassic devs are currently burning coins at a decent rate. So to summarize, we have:
- a coin that has fully bottomed out
- trading at a crazy discount from its main
- with no sell pressure
- representing a credible alternative to its main project (no devtax)
- with a baseline buy pressure (coin burning)
- about to be listed on a high profile, high liquidity DEX

If a currency is deflating and appreciating it forces a lot of healthy economic choices that are good for savers and good for your assets.
