What would happen if the U.S. dollar actually collapsed?

>money printer keep going brrrr
>walmart now sells a loaf of bread for $1,000,000, like Venezuela
>a fraction of any shitcoin is now worth $100,000,000 and an ounce of gold or silver is worth several magnitudes more
>normie lives in shambles
>boomers with metal and internet nerds with crypto still have REAL money

What happens at this point? Are the boomers and nerds raided and have everything taken from them?

the public goods would still be there (thorugh laws and law enforcement). there are kilotons of precious metals and bombs there to back any new currency. that new currency will likely be electronic central bank money. that's it.

Modern financial system and petrotrading would grind to a halt. Many banks globally would lose massively because they all have exposure to (petro)dollar and it would throw the world into a recession that would probably lead to a massive global conflict or intermittent series of conflict. Civil strife, social issues and balkanization would ensue in many parts of the world and problems like lack of good drinking water, food and common infectuous diseases like dysentery would return to those parts of the world that have (more or less) eradicated them.

Basically it would be the happening of happenings.

Reminder that everyone complaining about the dollar system is just coping that they don't have any dollars. People who actually do have dollars don't complain about it.

No one has the private wealth and incentive to attack the dollar at that level. Currencies don't just magically "collapse", either the economy starts to collapse first and can't service the claims at the current nominal rate or a government trying to peg against something it doesn't control loses control in that process. A real economic collapse in America would have to start with some sort of domestic war (not being able to get to the store wouldn't be your only problem) or extreme incompetence that's unlikely.

Dollar collapse is impossible anyway. Even with all the money printing this year, the dollar is only getting stronger. Why? Look up the dollar milkshake theory.

Dollar can collapse. A sufficiently enormous crisis can easily do it. 2008 was close already and it's far milder than what we're going to get if the coroneer induced heart attack in renting markets pollutes the real estate market.

This is what I'm afraid of. The collapse of value in dollar means the breakdown in the government, corruption will be rampant by this time similar to USSR. Then due to corruption, several WMDs from the former Soviet territories were sold off to elites, many still untraced and missing.
