it is kind of strange. Basically government tokens are viable to use only for super whales (but the fact that super whales try to outpower each other usually means there's money to be made eventually for smaller holders). It can be useful f.e. as I would really like to have a BZRX pool in Bancor, if the DAO was live and there was voting and I had enough I could make that happen.

With DMM governance will proobably eventually be about what kind of business to go into next (f.e. real estate, art, jewerly) besides interest rates and stuff.

Also, the white paper says that at some point surplusses from money made above the interest for 'normal' mToken holders will partly be paid out to DMG holders. I'm legit sad more /biz/ bro's don't realize how good this shit's gonna be.

Governance token is used for taking money from ,,investors" and allowing them to vote for irrelevant stuff like the color of Tim Draper's lambo.
