itt we design a denture grill for tooth anon
i think having /biz/ written across his teeth would look cool
obviously once we all make it in 6 months we'll be able to get him his surgeries.
actually now that i think of it, i bet we could set up a DAO and make a smart contract with a dentist to verify that he's spending it on what he says he is. could be a cool project

oh good.
i have a story.
all my enamles on k9s died.
i had them fixed by a hot asian dentist.
she did a 10/10 job, teeth looked brand new/perfect.
after 5 years using vibration devices like 30'' concrete grinders/jack hammers etc.
the fillings have fallen out.

i go back to same place to have them do it again.. whole new staff in there now.. qt azn dentist is mia/not there anymore.

new dentist is a young kid like you..
he's telling me to get like half my teeth pulled..
teeth i dont have problems with.

still have the cavities, 3+ months later.

what is the chemicals they use to do the white fillings, what is that product called?

i am going to do it myself.

just regular shaped tooth implants but made from a baller material like meteorite or trex fossil

>> No.21050886

Well the picture is blurry as fuck but if he has just one problem tooth with rampant caries that go to the pulp it probably needs a root canal, extracting would suck because either you don't have a molar to chew on or the definitive replacement for it would end up costing a lot more than the root canal. No denture/partial needed unless hes missing a lot of other teeth

>> No.21050887

>>21050812
that's my plan. but i want to do something cool where we set it up via smart contract so that only his dentist can pull from the fund.

pretty sure he has like $50k in costs. at least in the usa. maybe we could find a dentist in mexico and get it cheaper and fly him down there

same bro.
half because of me, and half from shit dentists gouging and grooving my enamel.
everywhere dentists hard picked my teeth is brown now.
one side looks like an explosion went off in my face. teeth are still good/solid, just enamel is fucked.
i been trying since march to get them fixed.
but the covid/insurance to do fillings keeps cock blocking me.
will probably have to pay $10g's out of pocket to get what i want done.

i blame myself, genetics, and shit denstist helpers that overscrape.

I don't know a lot about the personal clinic sides yet, we do things a little different in a school clinic, but theres a couple things here:
Sometimes we pull completely healthy teeth with no cavities not due to the health of the tooth but the bone that surrounds them, sometimes poor periodontal health from years of neglect makes teeth have bad staying power because the bone recedes and the tooth exfoliates. No amount of restoring can fix a loose tooth
If you have cavities 3 months later, you could just be high carious risk due to eating habit/smoking/ i dont know what you do. I think it's unlikely your dentist missed something with how easy caries are to spot. Caries can come up fast if youre being really negligent like popping candies before bed with no brushing.
Theres a couple chemicals you could be referring to, a white tooth-colored permanent filling is called composite resin but I wouldn't suggest doing fillings yourself because the caries can still grow underneath them unless theyre drilled out. Also I saw a case once where a guy put a temporary filling (like cavit, idk they sell this shit over the counter) and it looked ugly because he smeared it with his fingers. So if you insist on doing it yourself at least put in effort

>afterwards try to shill randoms on the internet to pay for your meth mouth by posing as a "kind stranger"

lmao fuck off and kys. unironically.

Well I don't know what tooth-anons financial situation is but if he's in poor health I would try to curb the behavior of putting all my money on the metaphorical roulette table of crypto.
Some dentists run non-profit clinics with lots of financial aid and a lot of dentists run comprehensive treatment plans (treats their teeth in order of worst to least bad) so he can get the worst sorted first. Also tell him to look out if dentists are offering 'free care' days for lower-income people, I have a local dentist that does this.

Whenever I post dentist stuff on other boards I get called a JIDF so I tend to refrain from posting dental stuff. This is a strangely positive reaction

thanks anon.
that's what it was composite resin.
there is a few more dentists in the area i can try before resorting to saying fuck it or doing it myself.

the covid in march, and backed up appoints been fucking me. on top of crazy work schedules. being in different states.

I really do not recommend doing a composite filling on yourself, its not easy to do them perfectly as a dentist, and you run risk of just trapping shit beneath. Besides the composite you need a bonding material, a way to keep the tooth dry etc.
Honestly just put toothpaste on top of the cavitated tooth 24/7, carpet bombing style. Obviously stop eating sugary foods as well, or no amount of dental care will save you.

>> No.21051429

>>21051405
There is no way anyone can do a composite filling on themselves kek.

>> No.21051450

Can't you just goto a hospital with an "emergency" and get it done then get charged later? Some hospitals have an emergency dentist on call 24/7. You might ruin your credit because you can't pay but i'd rather have bad credit than a tooth ache, that is the worst pain i have ever felt

hey what do you think about the homeoblock or the dna appliance?
i heard about it from Breathe by James Nestor.
basically the theory is modern man's mouth is too small because we don't chew enough, so most people would do well to space out their mouths to widen airway to breath better and prevent sleep apnea.
