if xlm was the only payment solution blockchain it would succeed but because of their non-profit approach where they literally given away 100% of the circulating supply for free with a time-appreciation scheme while theres thousands of other coins that work based on greed, supply and demand (just like lterally everything else valuable in the society) they are doomed to be a beta testing platform.
