21024215 No.21024215 [Reply] [Original]

I am going to get a shitload of meme replies but here goes.

Back in 2017 a friend of mine gave me funds to buy and hold chainlink for him. I am desperately searching transaction history to find out the exact amount I was holding for him. The main problem will be I am pretty sure he cannot remember his old localbitoins login to find the original sent adress..... I am super hesitant to give him back what I apparently owe if I cannot find proof. Plz help I don't want to be a shitlord but at the same time it's his own fucking fault for not having a record

Why not just ask the bank for any history of received payments from his account, to find out how much he gave you
Then work out the amount you bought of Chainlink based on the price data of the time you likely bought it

it's literally on the blockchain
just go back through with a spreadsheet

He sent me either eth or BTC directly when he was having trouble making a binance account. Binance had closed new registrations at the time if I remember

That is a good idea, I can get him to check his bank history and see what he sent to sellers on localbitcoins

So how did you buy it? Binance has all the deposit and buy histories there for you.

I am a bit retarded and need my hand held here. I can only find a history of deposits and withdrawals at the moment. I wish I was trolling

Thanks anyway everyone. Old messenger history implies it was 1548 linkies, ill probably just give it to him based on that. I am still pretty salty about it but oh well, guess I will just have to be happy I have 15,800 link

>> No.21025140

I autistically went through all my transaction history and found two orders that calculates exactly to 1548 LINK. This has been too stressfull never fucking again. Don't worry though I won't forget to jew him out of a few link for the withdrawal fee to my ledger.

Literally problem solved

Hey fucking Shekelstein.
Why are you salty about it?

He sent you money to buy link and hold it for him.

How fucking retarded and bad of a friend are you?

>> No.21025860

>>21025795
I was salty about it because its disconcerning to send money to someone when there is no proof of it ever being received.

I found the proof and I am no longer salty see>>21025140

What faggot? Binance had high withdrawal fees to make up for their low trading cost. Why should I pay to secure his finances? He can eat the 10 LINK withdrawal fee
