You can do either really, rlc is bound to back to $2 within a month or two. On the other hand, you could sell now and buy stuff like sxp, rpl and what not. I would personally sell 90%.

If you don't see what's happening here you aren't going to make it. iExec is the sole way these companies can "decentralize" themselves avoiding most or all regulation under the guise of internally preventing monopolistic practices since they would simply be a piece of the world-computer(the people's cloud) and not the sole controller of most cloud operations.

Not only that but these cloud giants will see the massive data protection, data renting, profit motives, and other technological advancements that are made possible by utilizing iExec.

ah yes, the concept that exists since 20 years in form of scientific computing (e.g with BOINC) and is already implemented as part of many successful marketplaces for GPU sharing (vast.io, fluidstack) just using credit-card payment.

Yep, slapping a unknown erc20 token which can't be bought in the US on-top of it is going to make big companies suddenly completely go bonkers to be part of this, cause companies just looove to buy huge amounts of volatile tokens for something then can get much easier already today.

>> No.20990868

Point is you don't need blockchains apart from the oracle use-case for on-chain data, which is more or less already covered by Chainlink. There is basically no need to have grid-computing on the blockchain, because its already a trustless system by design. There is no reason to mistrust the company building this system as said company doesn't hoard your money but merely acts as a rental broker between your tasks and a given number of machines. Putting it on-chain is ridicously expensive .. which is why iExec is developing sidechains (centralized in their control), which makes their system even more complicated to use. Plenty of crowdshared compute marketplaces like vast.io work with credit cards and have a high amount of adoption - because its easy to use and no illquid & volatile, difficult to obtain token needed, and there is 0 reasons to mistrust vast.io to fake your computations, I mean why would they ?

>> No.20991098

>>20990868
On that point, why does anyone need Chainlink either? There’s nothing these oracles do that is unique

Fluidstack will be on iexec in 2-3 years max as a worker pool, they would benefit from it.
You don't get all the implications of a decentralized, censorship resistant global cloud marketplace which scales all dapps/smart contract platforms in a way that no amount of tps ever will.

I can only invite you to read all the iexec blogs and their documentations because you're missing on a lifetime opportunity by thinking you have it figured out when you clearly don't.

Invest in something that has a future like SXP.
