The fact that people treat silver as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Silver money was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on silver coins and medallions, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to chattel slavery.

Already, by far the largest amount of money exists and is transacted in paper form — as bank deposits and central bank reserves. But even a little physical silver can cause a lot of damage to the economic system.

The existence of rounds — a bearer instrument with a zero interest rate — limits central banks’ ability to stimulate a depressed economy. The worry is that people will change their deposits for rounds if a central bank moves rates into negative territory. The Swiss, Danish and Swedish central banks, in a demographic culture of collapse, have pushed rates lower than many thought possible; but most policymakers still believe in an “effective” lower band not far below zero.

no need, imo unless you're collecting or want to. I used to buy in sets of 5 and put the best looking one in a plastic case. I'll do it if I don't have others or feel like it's a particularly nice round. I have no eye for it, it's just for personal enjoyment. I've been starting to throw mine into tubes if I'm buying less than 20 (like asahis) and again, i'll maybe put one or two into either a case if it's nice or leave it for desk silver if it looks like shit.

Like another anon said, save your pre 1982 pennies, its cheap and its all profit, once the penny is demonitized you can melt each one for 1.7 cents roughly speaking (assuming copper spot stays the same of course, and a penny is worth 1.8 in copper but you may lose a slight bit of money since the refinery will have to refine it from 95%, but either way you still profit) and while it may not be silver or gold it is still a physical asset that your holding in your own hands, and if you believe in shtf barter and all that stuff copper pennies will probably be the smallest denomination that people will want to use, so theres that

You should still read about the management, check out their corporate presentation, especially the share structure and insider ownership, and look them up on CEO.Ca. Also see if Cruxinvestor has done an interview on them and watch it.

There's a lot of guys here however who don't really do any DD and just invest based off of what's posted here. However the mining stock guys do a great job if i do say so myself and only recommend good companies. Haven't seen any garbage projects posted as of yet. Only garbage is the guy shilling SLV and GOLD. I honestly read and re-read his post and have no clue how he gets his conclusion. It makes sense if you're new and gullible however, which is why you need to do your own DD first.

At some point, if shit really gets real, calls will make a killing for sure. 5-10x rises are completely possible if we get the much prophesied default followed by a stampede of panicked normies. Odds of such a happening IMO are as good as 50% in the next year or two, but... timing is a bitch. Silver will come first though for sure. There's no Fort Knox to backstop SLV. Sprott definitely knows the weak link to attack.

Safer way is go long, then the bet is more about "if" than "when", but you gotta put more in. I'm taking calls only in 2021 for that reason. But obv short term = higher return, so you could also just repeatedly put in a little bit on shorter time frame calls, so long as you see it as a lotto ticket.

My point is this
You have 10,000 ounces of physical silver. It is revealed that its a shell game. There is no metal. What is your first reaction? You sell. Silver crashes hard. Silver could trade down to 0.01. Same goes for the Gold. You find out there is no metal. You have 1000 ounces. First reaction? Sell. Sell it all. This applies to every product. You could have misleading price action where gold or silver or even artisanal lavender beeswax trades down to $1 for the simple fact that its worthless. A print that low doesnt mean paper silver is only worth $1. A print that low means your paper silver in your hand is worth 3 figures

I've been warning about this . COMEX is getting delisted and Silver is going to Two cents. Gold is dropping to $6. Force Majuere bitches it's ugly

Just getting in early because this is so important so that I can repeat this from the last thread because of the urgency of speculation compounding FOMO/FUD

"GDXJ and SILJ will get delisted due to Force Majuere soon, and the people here who are foolishly buying options on them will lose everything as they should. This video will explain it all to you in detail but only if you watch it, in detail and with active learning

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XliHE6QgljY&feature=emb_title
you should be doing either one or both or neither of two things,

1) Buying EFTs to hold in your possession i.e. your hands , paws or meathooks, if it's not in your hand at your job you will be canned. Simple as

2) Buying the GOLD and SLV stocks and EFTs on the stock market. This is important!

3) Shorting Sprott EFTs, ETFs and other so called funds of funds. Look into non shared warehouse speciation custodial lots risky scheme ICYMI

Chris Marcus interviewed over a hundred people in the anime futa industry for his book "The Big Silver Shorty Pants," and, when he would ask each one how many owners there are for each mercury dime, he never got an answer lower than 500."

COMEX saved, Shady Sprott Shills (SSS) BTFO. BUY SLV

Barrick Gold Corporation ("Barrick") (NYSE:GOLD)(TSX:ABX) today announced that Barrick Gold Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barrick, has entered into a definitive agreement with Skeena Resources Limited ("Skeena") pursuant to which Skeena will exercise its option to acquire the Eskay Creek project and Barrick will waive its back-in right on the Eskay Creek project, all upon the terms and conditions set out in an amended and restated option agreement (the "Option Agreement").

As previously announced by Skeena, consideration for the transaction consists of: (i) the issuance by Skeena of 22,500,000 units (the "Units"), with each Unit comprising one common share of Skeena and one half of a warrant, with each whole warrant entitling Barrick to purchase one additional common share of Skeena at an exercise price of C$2.70 each until the second anniversary of the closing date; (ii) the grant of a 1% NSR royalty on the entire Eskay Creek land package; and (iii) a contingent payment of C$15 million payable during a 24-month period after closing.

>>20989999
The real rate of return is the nominal yield minus inflation. So basically the entire yield curve is running NEGATIVE real rates, and they are plummeting further and further negative.

Gold/silver have a 0% return, so the further real yields fall the more comparatively attractive PMs become to institutional investors. If you have wealth to preserve, why would you choose a govt bond where you are guaranteed to lose money?

No problem, I think expecting appreciation right now is definitely speculative, esp as a burger. seriously check out that EUR/USD chart. It's figured that PM will seriously run if that multi year trend breaks. and thank you for not calling it advice (because it's not advice). I get paranoid about it.

Google says JP Morhan has enough silver to give an ounce to over a half of legal american citizens. They also have x6 (probably more) of paper silver just for price crashing.
The question is, for how long can you hammer that nail with the CovidMeme? Are they not exhausting their """resources""" too fast?

Why not both?

Stocks will take a shit when people can't buy anything after their savings evaporate thanks to inflation.

PMs will hold value for obvious reasons, and Crypto isn't strictly tied to the US dollar (though it WILL crash when the market crashes).

The name of the game here is getting the FUCK out of anything tied to the US Economy.

Wow, that's abysmal amounts of silver.

FYI I bought meme/recreational silver yesterday night. The last time I did a true meme purchase was 50 GME at 2.70 that I was hoping to average down into. I have a horrible knack for buying small quantities of retarded shit (a tiny purchase of silver from GSM - Trump flipping the bird and fractionals instead of based Jesus clears the temple) before nice runs. I'm sorry bros. This is my Bog.
