We're coming to the end of the era where QE and easy money alone are enough to keep the train running. The next stage entails printing money to offset the real economy in a broad way as evidenced by PPP, stimulus, and other lending facilities. In this environment, loss of income, outstanding debt, and declining spending will be tackled by pseudo-fiscal measures taken by the Fed and Treasury. There is no appetite to raise rates or let a chain of defaults affect markets and there is even bipartisan support to do so though they may disagree on exact allocation.

This is worrying as these sort of measures aren't contained within the financial economy and are more prone to over/undershoot leaving us more prone to heavy inflation or deflation. We become Japan or we become stagflationary depending on the whims of Fed policy.

Negative rates is a last ditch effort that does little good. If negative rates are implemented, it'll be because the economic situation is deteriorating, sentiment is worsening, and some action needs to be taken to assure the market that the Fed has their backs.
Futures traders are pricing in negative rates by next summer.

I don't think that's a good model for current events. We were in the midst of WWI when that happened and public policy was entirely different, not to mention the landscape was wholly different. Fiscal and monetary policy in 2020, where virtually everyone bears a substantial debt burden, corporations not excluded. Not to mention all the offshoring that has been done over the last 3 decades.

We've seen more than 20 retail bankruptcies of note. While some oil companies are still producing on slim margins, oil has yet to recover and air travel is still down alongside freight. Tons of permanently shuttered businesses, and credit is getting increasingly difficult to find as SBA banks are looking for 100% coverage from the fed opposed to the 80% currently offered. This all without mentioning unemployment. Furthering arguments, the financial sector is highly liable right now, a lot of debt is currently in forbearance, and is very likely to fall into default in short order. Debt of all magnitudes, mind you, from petty loans to auto to home to commercial real estate.

All of this built on the tensile strength of a fucking hair, predicated on the idea we'll have a demonstrated and functional vaccine. Even then there are plenty of businesses that see a great deal of value in WFH modalities, which is going to further compromise commercial real estate by reducing demand and pressuring prices with deflationary forces out the wazoo.

Not entirely correct. While the demand/price will be hit, there will always be entrepeneurs to fill in the gap and use that real estate for something else, and there will be new companies springing up targetting the WFH market.

Since gold is considered legal tender for business transactions in Utah (where I live), they've made bills that contain set quantities of gold foil on them. 1/1000th to 1/20th an ounce, they're priced way over spot tho. First, make sure Python is in your path so find it in Windows explorer or whatever then add it to the User Path environment variable. After you do that, open up cmd prompt and navigate to the directory you downloaded the volume scanner to. It will have the requirements.txt file in it. When you get there, type "python -m pip install -r requirements.txt" and that will install all the dependencies for the volume scanner. After they install type "python market_scanner.py" to run the Volume scanner program. The scanner takes about 15-30 minutes to finish downloading everything.

C:\Users\natha\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38-32\Scripts\
It's in pic related. Yours will be similar though not necessarily exactly the same so check it. If you look at the contents of the folder you'll see pip.exe which is what you need to install the requirements.txt stuff.
To get it in your environment variables, copy that path and go into user environment variables and select PATH with your mouse, then click the button under it that says Edit... Good morning :D
Strongly strongly normal open auction, absolut no indication of concerted buys or sells so far!
I wasn't a serious trader (am I serious now kekkies?) back in 2016, I don't remember what the runup to the election was like. Looking at the chart it looks supremely boredom :o

I remember being nervous for most of it. There were spots where it looked like it was gonna do some kind of thing, made an initial move in that direction, then turned right back around and resumed crab.

You can call me a nigger all you want, but these mega corps need to be broken up or regulated more. Major anti-trust implications where MSFT for example can just get into the social media game by buying Tik Tok instead of creating heir own platform. This is not good for competition, to the point where AMZN kills earnings but still treats the amazonians like dogs. Competition is needed for further innovation.

You are unironically waiting for Boomers to die off or be replaced wholesale at the political and regulatory level. These megacorps got this way over 2 decades because Boomers didn't understand tech. And it's not like they will now.

Amazon will literally run the world if left unchecked. They will start offering living contracts for:

>Amazon bank account and internet service

That’s where we will end up if these companies are not stopped
