The best prices are at my local coin shop. They even pay OVER SPOT when buying back. I live in a major metro and this coin shop is number one in my city.

Local coin shops normally have at $3.5 or $4 over spot. That's about the same price you'll pay online.
Sometimes you can get better deals on Ebay. Visit /pmg/ for a list of websites that sell bullion.
Whatever you do don't buy silver contracts, don't buy paper silver.
They over sold silver futures, sold more than they can deliver realistically. So either the banks will have to buy vast amounts to fulfill contracts (which will raise price), or they will use lawyers to nullify people's paper silver.

Silver is silver. Smaller amounts the better. Don't go crazy with the random shit though. 1 ounce rounds. Junk silver coins. Throw in some real silverware for kicks. Probably wana stay away from 100 oz bars. Low premium but you may regret not having it be divisible. I know that's why I sold mine.
