I'm not sure where I recall seeing the 75%. Maybe Schiff said it? Or I got confused with our exports to the United States, but it was up to 58% with 2009 data.

In the end, Canada can whore out her natural resources to save their ass from central bank fuckery. The United States is a hyper developed global superpower. There's no whore monger rich enough to pay her out of her debt. Hopefully Trump actually brings back manufacturing jobs to the United States, Canada provides the raw resources, and Western supremacy regions, but that is a long messy road away.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Canada

Also most international miners are Canadian companies despite operating in South America or Africa for some reason. Something to do with our resource extraction laws.

Anon... we cant get even get pipelines built... alberta has to send oil to bc coast, onto a tanker, through panama canal, to get it to the east coast.

Outside of Oil, lumber, and fresh water there really isnt much going on, and water is screwed, we make nothing while companies like nestle sell water they pay pennies for. Oil is screwed right now. Lumber is doing so so, but tarrifs can and will fuck that eventually.

They’re talking about the dollar index and gold on the radio, stock of normal silver coins at online dealers is getting sold out apart from meme stuff.

The nice thing is that some of the metal exchanges sell made to order bars at a price that at least somewhat reflects spot, so if I save up a bit of money I can actually lock in at least okay if not actually good deals on silver when spot drops.

I believe that SLV and GLD are going 10-20x by the time this bull market is over, so I'd advise simply buying them if the premiums are too much for physical. Physical is simply to add even more leverage, along with increased risk, and try to extract 50x or 100x gains. 2020 ASE, for example, may well go 50x, as Sprott says, but I don't think that maples or even philharmonics could go 50x. I only put 1-3% of my net-worth into any one coin, as Don Durrett recommends.

In order of risk-reward, this is how I'd order PM investments:

GLD
SLV
ASE
Kookaburras

I don't know exactly what the rules are once the COMEX and SILJ are exposed as a fraud, but I don't see the point in playing with fire needlessly. If you want leverage to the price of silver, you buy SLV If you want to hedge, you keep some of your net-worth in cash, in case of a pullback.

https://www.cbc.ca/arts/gay-culture-has-grown-toxic-with-unchecked-privilege-it-s-time-for-us-to-reset-1.5639251
Sorry for the /pol/ posting but this article keeps getting posted and holy shit does it sum up how fucked everything is. Starts off with the authur lamenting Floyd like everyone else and saying vague bullshit before going into the problems with the gay community. He comes so close to self awareness as he critics gay men for their hedonism and especially quotes Larry Kramer with "We have the ultimate in freedom – we have absolutely no responsibilities! – and we're abusing it." He condesends the fags who constantly look for another fling without looking to settle down and overall brushes up within a millimeter of the realization that having a family is just about the most productive and beneficial thing you can do for both yourself and society. Then he does a 360 and moonwalks away from the truth while spouting the usual anti-racism bullcrap before ending on that shit note.
Why the fuck do people come so close to the truth and just when they're about to realize it the programming kicks back in. FUCK. The entire article is rendered a rambling mess because he condemns gay men's carelessness and then transitions into black oppression with no cohesion between the two points being made. Just a nonsense appeal to the public consciousness. I swear to god, the moment the faggot boomers rise past their programming the whole system is going to crumble like a house of cards. They know themselves better than anyone else and the internal condemnation will be undeniable if just someone will grow a pair and speak against the awful culture they have created around themselves. No excuses, no scapegoating, just straight admittance that what they were told their whole lives by their forebearers was the greatest truth: stop encouraging degeneracy and the degredation of the social order.

Spot and phys will decouple at that point, because of severe supply/demand imbalance as supply approaches infinity and demand craters due to people demanding liquidity of paper metals, or else dealers simply refuse to buy and wait for it to bounce back.

But this is all academic, because, institutional investors fucked up by getting caught and having to sell PMs in march. Make no mistake, many people on wall street know the score now (even if the media is controlled) and they're very quietly repositioning themselves such that they have sustainable PM hedges, and many of them physical and allocated. There will not be such a rally again.

My point is this
You have 10,000 ounces of silver. It is revealed that its a shell game. There is no metal. What is your first reaction? You sell. Silver crashes hard. Silver could trade down to 0.01. Same goes for the Gold. You find out there is no metal. You have 1000 ounces. First reaction? Sell. Sell it all. This applies to every product. You could have misleading price action where gold or silver or even artisanal lavender beeswax trades down to $1 for the simple fact that its worthless. A print that low doesnt mean silver is only worth $1. A print that low means your paper silver in your hand is worth 3 figures

The fact that people treat silver as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Silver money was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on silver coins and medallions, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to chattel slavery.

Already, by far the largest amount of money exists and is transacted in paper form — as bank deposits and central bank reserves. But even a little physical silver can cause a lot of damage to the economic system.

The existence of rounds — a bearer instrument with a zero interest rate — limits central banks’ ability to stimulate a depressed economy. The worry is that people will change their deposits for rounds if a central bank moves rates into negative territory. The Swiss, Danish and Swedish central banks, in a demographic culture of collapse, have pushed rates lower than many thought possible; but most policymakers still believe in an “effective” lower band not far below zero.

Tarnishing occurs based on how much Sulfur is in their surroundings, if you wash your hands before using them they'll tarnish slower than if you don't. Whatever you do, avoid using them while eating or in a garage, they'll be exposed to the most sulfur in those environments. I wouldn't advise playing with them if they're pure Silver, pure silver is quite soft which will lead to them getting dinged pretty quickly up when you roll them.

You guys still don't get it.

that inflation, that disconnect of paper to commodity, is exactly the reason that generation is now wealthy. Yes, their wages went down over time, but their houses went up in value. They bought cheap commodities on credit and paid for them with dollars that became less valuable every year.

you act like that's a bad thing when it paid for your computer or phone, your childhood, your very existence.

We don't WANT currency that holds its value, nobody gets rich off that ever. The game is in knowing how it's going to change. Protip: it's going to go down in value every year. Which means your durable goods are going to go up in relation to it.

Trump is slowly trying to pull us kicking and screaming to #1, but he is a very weak president with few ideological allies in govt.

If he wins, he probably gets stronger and that move accelerates. We don't dodge a currency crisis but we admit the old system has failed and do a planned transition to a new system, which could come in many forms. IMO, one likely outcome is a north-american economic zone complete with it's own commodity-backed currency to counter the euro.

If Biden wins we probably try to double-down on business as usual, aka they accelerate the Globalist & Keynesian nonsense that got us into this mess until it fucking explodes. At least that's how it seems, given our elite are 4 years into a screaming tantrum over being told they are fuck-ups.

the biggest danger is inability to pay the debt back and getting your shit repo'd

I mean in a hyperinflation scenario there's going to be massive defaults, economic collapse, loss of jobs and markets. A lot of people are going to be unable to service debt and will have their shit foreclosed, repo'd, or sued and sold at auction. But if you keep your income you'll come out way ahead after the crisis stabilizes. If you're sitting on a pile of cash to buy distressed properties at fire sale prices you'll get rich.

Yep, the worst thing to hold during hyperinflation is cash. Debt generally becomes worthless as there is no metric by which it can reasonably be converted. Assets like property etc have inherent value to human life and therefore always valuable.

The opposite is true during deflation. Cash increases in value while everything else decreases, and debts become more expensive.

This is one of the reasons debt-based societies are so afraid of deflation - the debt becomes too expensive to sustain and the system crumbles.

Even if silver goes down, you'll still be able to cover most of the outstanding balance by selling the silver you bought if things don't totally collapse. If silver goes up, it's easier to pay off. Playing the GSR could be advantageous as well if you get a large enough credit limit. I keep thinking about doing it, but haven't pulled the trigger since my expenses are so low with the lock down. If you take out margin, you could look into buying silver futures contracts in a Roth IRA. Then you can either fiat settle the contracts or get delivery according to the terms of the custodian (some don't allow the futures in the Roth in the first place). To avoid having to keep the silver in there until you retire, you could then sell it and use up to 100k in fiat still inside the Roth for a first time home purchase. Why do this?
1. Other than shipping costs, silver futures means you avoid these stupid huge premiums.
2. By keeping the silver inside the Roth you avoid capital gains
But make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's here. Make sure you understand how futures contract work including size and delivery and make sure your custodian allows for you to keep the silver and liquidate it if need be.
This is also limited to 100K in fiat but the idea is that land is a non-fiat equivalent. Don't bother with meme land. Get actually useful land.

It's a consequence of my hours and hours of research that I have insane levels of conviction going into the PMs market for AT MINIMUM 3 YEARS. I spend literally every minute outside of work learning and thinking about the macroeconomic environment and the PMs market. Many of the top names in the macro world are piling into Gold right now. Raoul Pal, Ray Dalio, Druckenmiller, Luke Gromen, Lyn Alden, Hugh Hendry, Grant Williams, Mike Green. They are LITERALLY the SMART MONEY that everyone loves to talk so much about.

With the mess central banks have gotten us into the past 2 decades, Gold is easily the highest return and lowest risk place to put your money. Even at 0 yields, Gold outperforms everything in a negative yielding environment, which we've been following a 40 year trendline into since the 80s.

Knowing this, I try to absorb all the knowledge guys like Sprott, Rick Rule, Marin Katusa, throw out there for free about the PM mining market to gain maximum leverage on the price increase on Gold itself.

One of these plays is diversifying into silver for leverage on gold, and miners for leverage on their respective assets. Silver miners here are essentially leverage squared, but the risk itself remains very low outside of the mines having issues - after understanding the relationship between Gold and Silver through all of history, and as well their price actions during the previous few PMs bull markets, silver's leverage to gold comes at very little risk. Shoutout to the GSR FUDers reading this, who have now shut the fuck up the last 3 weeks and have missed out on these INSANE gains we've made. This is all your fault for trying to pick teams like PMs are some shitcoins instead of chasing gains.

Thats not as big an issue for me. Everyone I know is a stacker, and they have said If I made my own coins they would be interested. It's not really from a business perspective, just a cool thing I want to do.

First Mining owns that Springpole project that First Majestic bought the silver stream rights too? I love that Red Lake area, the mineralized belts there are amazing.

if you just want a few it would be much cheaper to cast them using the lost wax method. I've done it before with solder and made some very decent looking fake coins in the past just to see how it's done.

super easy, costs a couple bucks. Good looking results if you can carve wax.

The only custom pour i have is my han solo 5 oz but I wasn't the one who made it.

I'm probably just going to buy a kilo when i get to ~900 in profit. Maybe 10 oz. The premiums are so high right now part of me just says to wait and see if i can grab when things cool down.

there are a few online shops that do die cutting or manufacturing I ll find the ones I was looking at a few mouths ago for you. The dies are usually hardened steel for durability. The ones I was looking at were rated for 10k presses.

that's a good idea...

I never messed with wax for coins because I was casting fakes of real coins, but the results were pretty damn good with a bit of practice. I made solder coins that would pass as the real thing at first glance and feel.

Since the flag was set up however, the price of Gold has itself increased by 10% while the flag has gone nowhere.

TA Prediction: we will breakout massively to the upside soon of the channel so long as Gold's price doesn't shit the bed.

Fundamental Analysis: Firstmining is already trading at a discount to it's peers, and since Gold's 10% move and the chart's flag, technically this means FirstMining's Gold in the ground is suddenly worth about $1.2 billion more, but it's share price has not moved yet.

Hey I think I was talking to you in a thread about the Shaw portable drill ages ago, did you end up getting it and how did it go? Mine's still in the shed havent had a chance to use it again been focused on other stuff. I managed to pickup a little keene 140 dry washer for sampling at a decent price, guy nearly changed his mind when selling it.

I have a shaw drill but this is a bit bigger job, I have an "X Ray" Drill, the plan is to try and get three holes drilled on the property to see if the ore body found at surface by logging continues to depth and how wide it is across part of the vein. Once I know that, I can bring in people with more expertise than myself to help my partner and I on the project figure out what to do next. I am hoping to prove the property up and sell it or lease it to a junior for them to explore. My drills nearly identical to pic.

Probably somewhere in California, Colorado or Alaska. They are the best regions for placer in the US. Washington state has good placers as to many other states but it will mostly be fly poop sized particles, not nuggets. Where are you located, I can narrow down your search.

For those with an appetite for possibly burning 10% on a risk play, miner call options are a thing. In the event of mooning, they are the winning play imo.

Personally I have a few grand into some medium and long term junior miner calls. Essentially trying to catch the part of the bull run where price increase accelerates as normies flood in.

Ah very nice, yeah I think I said as well the shaw is nice but for deeper drilling you need something with a bit of power. Good luck with the gold price at the moment you only need a hint of something good for a junior to want to add it to their portfolio.
