Maybe not since those aren't really traded directly. They are more of a side effect of the actual buying and selling of the regular product. If you are looking a something that tends to go up when stocks go down I'd suggest TMF. That's the leveraged treasuries and they perform quite well in the long term as well as inversing stocks reliably. That's a much better bet than say SQQQ which pretty much only goes down and is very erratic to boot.

anything from 10 to 200 works well, with 20, 50 and 100 being best overall, 10 and 200 being similar (but 200 generates fewer trades which is better), and 20-50 being a bit more opportunistic than 100.
