I am researching herbal protocols actually. There’s something called the Buhner Protocol that gets a lot of hype. The problem is that all of the Lyme specialists are fucking quacks and shunned by the medical community, and all of the actual sane medical doctors do not believe in chronic Lyme. I absolutely have some sort of tick borne illness but it feels like I have to trust my health to schizos. It’s a nightmarish situation psychologically.
I developed a big rash on my shoulder blade back in April and it stayed there for a month. I kept looking at it like what the fuck is this rash but there was no bite and it didn’t itch or grow in size. Then of course it fucking went away and a week later it dawned on me that it was a god damn Stage 2 Lyme rash and I didn’t get a photograph of it. Until then I legit thought I had Multiple Sclerosis that’s how fucked my symptoms were. And the one time I could have photographic evidence that proved something is seriously wrong with me I fucked it up kek. In my defense I thought getting ride of Lyme is just a course of antibiotics and you’re set. That’s not true at all sadly

I’m sure you already know but the health of our immune system depends on our gut biome, I would really try to prioritize clean, nutritious eating so that your good bugs can multiply and fight for you.

Call me a faggot but you'll waste years and thousands going down exploitative rabbit holes of wim hof, gut biome treatments and fasting. There's a reason modern medicine with scientific method works where celebrity healers and nice sounding justifications didn't.

I'm not inexperienced, i have crohns which presented atypically meaning i had a year of odd symptoms before diagnosis. Lost 25kg, went down to 58kg as a 6'1 guy. Developed permanent neuropathy and twitches from malnutrition, by the end i couldn't walk more than a few metres, my gums were bleeding, i was having nightly rigors, was permanently in some twilight sleep and i would make weird involuntary noises, i guess from vocal chord twitching. I know what it's like to be ill with something unknown.

Even when diagnosed i went through 5 years of different medications with none working. Eventually leading to bowel scarring meaning even today if i eat too much in a sitting my gut blocks and i got to A&E for a few days in horrific pain vomiting up literal shit.

I tried meme cures from online quacks and they're there to rip you off, not one thing more. If it's worth anything they should be happy to pursue trials at which point it is either disproven or becomes medicine, none of them ever do. They stay safe in untested which tells you everything. Or the worst collect money for trials they will never attempt.

The final medicine available fortunately worked for me but even then i was exhausted all the time, had to take months off work. Turns out i was just depressed, did a year of anti-depressants and that all went away. Medicine is your friend, online memes aren't.

Could very well be my friend. Doctors can be in fact wrong. Don't want to give false hope, but my understanding is that cholangitis escalates a lot faster. The fact that you have no symptoms 10 years later could be that the original diagnosis was wrong and that it's "just" autoimmune hepatitis. At least this is what I can tell you from my own experience

You’re assuming that Lyme and other tick diseases are a lot more thoroughly researched than they are. Either way I don’t 100% believe that I have Lyme Disease because as mentioned I never got the flu like symptoms or joint swelling/pain that are common with Lyme. I think I probably have another tick borne illness. I’ve been bitten by tons of ticks over the past few years and I’m suddenly very sick with tons of random migrating symptoms. It’s logical. These aren’t mysterious muh aches and pains. Alcohol sensitivity/allergy isn’t vague. Vertigo isn’t vague. Facial numbness on the right side isn’t vague. Nerves not working in my throat isn’t vague. You can test for all this shit easily.

I haven’t taken antibiotics because I tested negative for Lyme. I didn’t even think I had Lyme until I got a massive rash like the pic I showed you. Prior to that I was worried I had MS. But MS would be making it harder and harder to walk and my arms and legs feel normal and strong aside from neuropathy and twitching.

That’s why this is such a fucked situation. I’m having a shitload of symptoms but I can’t get a simple antibiotics course and the only alternative is to either be miserable as shit all day or go to some schizo hippie herbalist. At least in your situation it’s clear what you have and what you have to do to treat. I have no clue what the fuck is going on

Bacteria in general are well researched, it's not hidden infection still causing symptoms. Only mycobacterium can often be difficult like that and that's not what causes lyme's.

Random allergies/sensitivities, vertigo, nerve things are the definition of vague. If you had nerve conduction studies to confirm a nerve isn't actually working that's something but a phenomonological opinion is worthless, as said i had many even when my crohns was "treated", turned out i was depressed and anxious.

The good thing is that if something isn't really progressing then at least it's likely nothing is being damaged in your body and there's a good chance it will disappear. I went from doing triathalons and lifting 1/2/3/x for 5 to not being able to walk down the street and shitting blood in a year, doctors take the rate of progression as a useful measure of urgency. Just don't fall into the weird, exploitative world of dietary obsession, expensive untested pill regimes and sure follow it up medically but don't underestimate how much real physical symptoms can actually be mental.

No, the crohns was/is very real. However even when treated, with inflammation mostly down and my ability to absorb food manifestly returning as i returned to normal weight, i was still absolutely exhausted all the time. I kept missing work, felt like i had lost 40 IQ points. I attributed it to the crohns, given the malabsorption and inflammation had obviously had that effect for years but it was a confusing picture because those couldn't easily be the cause anymore.

Now any moron online would start shilling weird plankton nutrients i might still be deficient in, or maybe my gut biome has been changed and is causing it and for a while even i was fooled and tried every weird and wonderful thing. However it was literally just depression and anxiety, which made sense - i had spent 21-26 viciously ill, never went out, half the time looked like a corpse, lost my career, including one important test failed because i was going through a period of my inflammed intestine sticking to my bladder causing bladder inflammation and urgency, meaning i pissed myself in a test in front of everyone. The obstructions were/are horrible and meant that at any point i could spend days in hospital wishing i was dead. There's more still but the point being legitimate ill health WILL cause depression, it's obvious. Even after the main disease is gone. Yet people will lump it in with the disease and not treat it accordingly.

I have this weird scalp dermatitis or eczema or whatever the fuck it's called. Basically I get these weird like cat scratches when it turns bad and then I get lots of flakes coming out. I go to the barber every month to cut my hair short from the sides and back(on top of the head leave it a bit longer since the problem seems to be on the sides and the back of the head). For some reason this helps plus I can put hydrocortisone cream more efficiently (use it for like 3 days after the barber and then it's basically almost gone until the next month, but I still get flakes).

Funny thing is this summer I went on a week long trip when it was very hot so I tanned a lot(scalp got a lot of sun which might have helped I guess) and swam in the sea and lakes and this thing went away completely. Maybe I should move to a hotter place for a year like Italy or Spain. Hopefully LINK goes to $40 so I can make it and do just that. I'm still young so maybe I will grow out of it or something.

I just fucking hate that there are these annoying illnesses that have no cure so you have to try all these weird schizo things like fasting or eating very very strictly or not using shampoo or using a specific shampoo. Nothing has helped. Not even the 48hr fast.
