Livecoin isn't that bad. It's a bit like cryptopia in that it has no KYC, occasionally goes down, and you should never hold funds on there once you're done making trades.
I've been using Livecoin for 3 years with no issue but I get my funds off there immediately.

Fundamental analysis determines precisely why an altcoin is justified. In that regard, XSN and the ecosystem its building is strong.
Without fundamental analysis, the only thing I can think of is throwing a couple hundred dollars at several random coins and then holding them into some euphoric state 2017 style. At that rate, you could be very lucky. You could end up losing a lot in sat and have been better off buying BTC.
