OP sorry if this sounds harsh because I wish you well but 1% per day is unrealistic. If you could get those kind of returns consistently without losing it all you’d be the world’s first trillionaire. You need to save up for a while first to realistically make $30 a day.

however, if you just buy the best coins and be exposed to positive black swans in crypto, in one year it's possible to make 10x, 50x or even 100x+

100x? you need to be lucky in your picks and also when realizing profits, but possible

if you rly doubt me and still believe you can be profitable without experience, just separate 5% or 10% max of your bankroll and trade with those. after you have enough experience under your belt slowly increase your risks

that was the advice of the first guy right? start a portfolio of the top 10 coins and maybe a couple niche ones? I don't doubt your input at all. I'd rather be told this stuff now before I blow my literal life savings.

I'm thinking about buying that portfolio then, and letting it grow for a bit. I don't exactly need that $10-30 right now. After some time that I think I've hit a good stable amount of capital, start taking out the winnings a couple times a week. If shit crashes, duck out. And if I lose 30%+ of my initial investment, duck out too until I can try again. I'll read biz and shit. having a portfolio of the top dozen coins, and keeping tabs on the happenings has to be at least somewhat idiot proof Sell high buy low and whatnot.. Not looking to become that fairy tale guy that turns $3500 into $200k.

swing trade. find some coins that often have small pumps or dumps and buy on the down trend, sell on the up trend
this can often happen within minutes in small caps.
dont know where you live, but male sure that your trades is not taxable events or you might get fucked by the taxman

i've revised my outlook to 0.003-0.005 a day. I'm not exactly a fountain of wisdom. This whole thread is me trying to dip my toes in before throwing my nut on coinbase. if you're right that 2% is most realistic, even with a bankroll of 5-6k in November, then yeah, I'll have to reconsider things.
