Did I just get dusted? 101 Hex out of nowhere and apparently this happened to over 5600 wallets.

RH has been filling London with HEX ads. They're showing during soccer matches too. Wouldn't be surprised if millions of HEX from the OA was airdropped to certain/random wallets. He's got hundreds of millions of dollars he would never be able to convert to fiat, and he's going hard on marketing HEX. It's fundamentally a good project (and finished). I think he cares too much about his ego to let this project fail.

>Dusting on Ethereum

Stop panicking you tards, this does absolutely squat shit. The only thing "dusting" does is that it can help you find out which addresses might belong to a single user, rather than being unconnected. Big fucking deal. And even that trick only works on Bitcoin, not on Ethereum. I bet you guys even use the same Ethereum address for holding and transfering most of your tokens (I certainly do), so there's nothing to "find out" anyway.

Really unsure. In my extremely limited opinion, it could be new market makers using the 101 HEX to track Txs from early investors and one of the pre-chosen winners of crypto. People act like governments are somehow in the dark when in reality they’ve subsidized and/or helped create many of the projects. The HEX could simply be market research — “how do people use currency within this economic framework?” Given its based off a Nobel prize economist, I wouldn’t be surprised. Ultimately, it’s too hard to tell whether it’s benign market research or malicious tracking, so for now I’m doing nothing at all with it.

There's a certain righteous anger at earning money, paying taxes on it, then taking what you have left after taxes and risking it on an investment, and then if you risk wisely here comes the government again for another piece. They don't come around with a check if you lose.

That said, the whole reason they can take those taxes is because if you follow any law to its logical end, there's a man with a gun who will shoot you if you don't comply. So hire a good accountant and pay what he says to pay.

But I do agree that I hate how stupid Americans are. As an immigrant even I can see that taxation in this country has reached a point where it feels like a mutant mosquito has been sucking on your blood since he was the size of a eyelash and now with you on your last legs, starting down retirement or recovering from an accident etc etc that mosquito is still sucking your blood only now this greedy motherfucker is the size of a tree and your basically anemic.
