Holding AMPL is one of the scariest experiences of my life. The dumps have been absolutely violent and it somehow keeps being bought back up. What the fuck is going on with this shit?
>>20731972Dips are clawlike, compared to craters of normal upmarket/dowmarket bearcycle.
Don't know. I sold too early. Feel fucking sick because if I'd have just held off be up half a million or better. Took 200k profits, but fuck man. It's way too scary to have that much money teetering on the brink on the ruin of unrealized gains. This shit really fucked me up.
Friendly reminder seed investor token unlock today for over $40M worth of AMPL
>>20732038Yeah, I don't think I'm going to sell but holy fuck, I can't sleep at night because I'm so scared its just going to completely fucking tank.>>20732050Then largest seed investor wallet doesn't sell his so its a nothingburger.
>>20732050based
>>20732050last time they market dumped itget ready for the dip
>>20732050If/when it dips should I buy in? I don’t have any AMPL currently
>>20732087>I'm so scared its just going to completely fucking tank.Would you die if it did? No? Then settle down.
>>20732038Proud of you anon. It's better to have fresh cash in the bank than a new bar story about that one time you had over 1MM on paper that you never realized because it all eventually crashed.
>>20732087>Then largest seed investor wallet doesn't sell his so its a nothingburger.Every other one does though. And they will be getting 100x more tokens this time. And you really think the largest wallet isn't going to take a little profit on millions this time around?
>>20732135You wouldn't understand but I'm very close to making enough money to fix my teeth. I need like 30k in dentistry so it does cause me to lose sleep.>>20732169Look at their distributions, really weird that they always get the same amount every month, isn't it?
>>20732169he is an idiot ofc they will sell it’s free money to them
Price action suggests its going to dump. No higher low and no higher high on the 4h. Be careful, if 40m does get unlocked today its going to shut the bed. Best having bids in around 1.80. Not financial advice.
I only began investing 7 days ago. I've doubled my investment and pulled out my starting capital. Going to let the rest ride and see what happens. I have hope in the project but felt it prudent to protect against a black swan.
>>20732148I mean, I know it's never bad to protect profits. I'm only like 7x away from making it out of the rat race forever... But I could've been 3x away. Ouch. Still have 10k ampl and 15k value in the geyser, so if it continues its march I don't have to KMS, but fuuuuuuuuuuck. How has it gone uncorrected for this fucking long?
>>20732218it’s going down later.don’t be fucking idiots and pay the seed investors free money.sell now buy back later enjoy rebase tonight
>>20731972im terrified too anon. its a thrill I havn't felt in a while. geyser is up for another 70 days I don't see why whales wouldn't be pump and umping it. way too profitable not too
Whats up with the fud in this thread hahahahaha
I sold, fuck this shit. thanks for the profits faggots
>>20732196>Look at their distributions, really weird that they always get the same amount every month, isn't it?Are you fucking trolling or just mentally retarded? They aren't getting the exact same amount every month, and AMPL hasn't rebased one way or the other hard enough to cause significant changes in the past couple unlocks. This time it did. you fucking absolute retarded faggot
>>20732380wow you're very rude
>>20732321Do whales get money for fomoing into ampl and providing liquidity? Sorry, am brainlet. Is this why ETH is mooning, too?
>>20732321oh my...i turned my 1000$ into 50000$ (bought at 5M MC)and im almost shitting myself, almost every single piece of me telling that i should sell but if geyser is active for next 60 days, it could pump till then.im watching compound calculators that if i get even 5% median rebases for next 60 days i'd have multi million dollars. thats too fucking absurd to even think that it really could be possible that i'm gonna flip my thousand bucks into few million $that would be a story of a lifetime. if that happens, im gonna write a fucking book about this. its like lottery jackpot.
>>20732038Could have would have. You did great man. 200k is a fucking lot of money.
>>20732402Respond to my statement instead of crying like a faggot.Admit that you are a fucking moron for not realizing the previous seed unlocks weren't very different because AMPL was roughly $1 for an extended period of time. This time they will get a lot more, because of all the rebases in the last month.
>>20732453Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Shame on you little boy.
>>20732453they will get a shitload of free money ready to dump and they will you don’t really think they will just hold and enjoy free rebases lmao
Look faggots, i'm not saying that AMPL is going to dump into oblivion because 4 wallets get their seed tokens unlocked today.I'm saying they WILL sell for profit, and cause a dump. This may or may not lead to the death spiral, my bet is that it wontBut if you are holding AMPL right now instead of waiting for the dump, you are a terrible investor who has done 0 research on Ampleforth and the token distribution.
>>20732405I love this. I got into AMPL late but I'm going in hard on every rebase. It's good to hear about anons like me making it. God speed my sweet anon.

>>20732937why should they take the risk and wait for the supply and mcap to further increase and the price to decrease to dump their free tokens?they won’t sell all at once but they will sell
Why sell when this will blast through 1 billion market cap? Or is this just a fud thread... If so, carry on
>>20732907already sold at 2.55 will buy back later
>>20733129Because the value of their holding grows with the mc?Meanwhile the price is dumping, I hope you're happy

>>20732038this man. holding through a x100 is delusional and almost impossible without falling into a coma at the right time or weed induced amnesia. don't you dare beat yourself up about 200k anon
The secret of ampl is lopsided mathematics. There is unlimited max positive rebase (anything >$1.05) but limited max negative rebase (anything below $0.96) of -10% at $0 price. As long as there is demand, negative rebase will still bring price up back to $1 and start FOMO cycles again. This uneven math effectively makes for trapping more base mcap after each FOMO cycle and raising the collective value of each holder's stack. The only way value can leave is if there were prolonged 0 demand, which at this point is not realistic. However, don't let anyone shill you with "muh compounded gains" or any such nonsense. Rebase simply changes supply evenly so everyone still holds the same % of the token supply each night. Money comes in whenever whales or FOMO fags pump the price and requires continuous new demand for mcap (and hence the value of your stack) to continue to accumulate at a meaningful rate.Advanced level: Learn to play the swings and you can multiply your %stack every FOMO cycle. Sell the top, buy the bottom.MY AMPL STAY SUPER HAMPEL

you guys are just retarded. 90% of the seed investors have not sold a single AMPL yet. If they want to sell they'll do it right now. They don't have to wait for todays rebase lol. Stop the FUD and move on. They are holding.
>>20734574ok lets say you are right, do you think they will seriously try to swap millions in a single uniswap operation? they would bite off the finger that feeds them
This will close under $1 every day for a while, everyone is running for the exits and the supply is going to contract massively.7mil supply to 700mill...This is the most obvious top.
He is not right. The previous distrubutions have done increased as well and they haven't sold it yet. Damn you guys are dumb

WHY DO I NOT FEEL OKAY WITH THIS?
>>20734773This is the first token unlock after AMPL went parabolic. Critical thinking anon. Last time they got tokens they were 100x less than today. >>20734735>they would bite off the finger that feeds themBut a bird in the hand is better than 10 in the bush. Price impact of selling 1M ampl is only 8%, I would do that in a heartbeat personally. >>20735937probably so that in case of a moonshot like this the compensation can be cappedi listened to founder interview recently he said they never saw this coming and will be adjusting their dumping to reflect the new realities.
>>20735788I dumped at 3.30, 2.70 and 2.40, with a little fomoing back in in between. And yeah, it's due for a significant correction. This isn't biz fud, dude. Even if every single anon were fudding it would do fuckall to a token with 50mill liquidity.
>>20736010yeah this is what could still make this a nothingburger but i'd be a salty investor lmao
>>20732196shit bro you're American aren't you?I had my whole oral cavity pretty much remade a couple of years ago, including surgeries, completely paid by my employer and my health insurance
>>20735983do they just get the face amount or is it the face amount rebased since birthits actually an extremely tiny amount compared to the past if its just the face amount
>>20736070Of course they get the rebase anon. How fucking scammy would it be if they didn't get the rebase, despite literally being investors that allowed Ampleforth to exist.
WILL IT GET BACK TO 2.50 ONE DAY SO I CAN BREAK EVEN??
These whales can see all the same stats you can, and maybe more. Why would they bite the hand that feeds them, and take this to 1 rather than selling slowly or not at all yet.
>>20736145Probably by the rebase but don’t sell you fucktard
>>20736100yeah everything gets the rebase, rebase can't be dodged by anything anywhere
>>20736152Because by now they surely realize this is a pnd
>>20736175don't sell when? now? when i get my money back? i'm only on bitfinex so i don't get the rebase.
>>20736152Nobody here thinks the investors want the token to crash to 0What we're saying is that it's an almost guaranteed certainty that they will take profits after being up 100x in the last month, and just now. Today. getting the tokens they are owed after that 100x
>>20736192P+D by who? The same whales that want to get this money out and more, but don't want to kill it?+ Series A investors (the big boys) are tied up for months still.AMPL is far from over
So I should literally buy into this because of the accumulated positive rebases as soon as it dips too much?
>>20736243To add to this. Even IF they sell everything at $1, they still make absolute fucking tons of money because of all the rebases before this.So the seed investors have absolutely 0 risk if they choose to sell it at $1.90 or $1.50 or even $1, they still make fucking tons of money
>>20734193>Grow a brain.thats not something you can actually grow
i'm comfy riding today out in eth and maybe missing a rebase
>>20736240>i'm only on bitfinex so i don't get the rebase.I'm also on Bitfinex and I do get it. Are you sure you're not getting it? I find it unlikely. In fact thanks to Bitfinex's rebases I realized how this coin operates.
>>20736302somebody who made x100 on a coin that is valued at $2.50 currently will break even when dumping at $0.025, this is not rocket science
>>20736302If you worked in execution and you suggested it is the same to sell at $1 rather than $2 gradually, you would be fired.
>>20731972ahhhh, its over
>>20736379What part about >>20736351 don't you understand? These people already 100xd their money, even if they end up selling it at 50 cents, they still make shitloads
>>20736100no but. theres a massive difference between. "you get 70k on this date"and"3 months from now you get whatever this 70k that is sitting in this wallet has turned into"future distributions that will be about $1 is actually one of the best use cases for this coin thuogh so its probably the first
>>20736396holy fucks whales are dumping hardwell you guys know the drilldump at the topor hold and say were gonna moon and hold htis dead coinn for years lol already soldonto the next pump and dump
>>20736403I understand it fine, but:The expected value of crashing this now, and making less on the existing tokens is far less than that of selling partials and keeping this going and growing for their next token releases. The token chart goes on for another year.Think forward a little please.
>>20736434you see that past investor payouts have been influenced by rebases. this is simply a fact recorded on the blockchain. anything else now would be manual fuckery by the team which is always a possibility
>>20736434It is absolutely not the first anon. That is not how AMPL works at all. Do more research. It's very basic and easy to understand.Read the medium article I posted earlier, they get a set % of their tokens unlocked monthly. It's incredibly easy to understand.https://medium.com/ampleforth/ampleforth-ieo-and-token-distribution-transparency-report-d7b632bbc838
>>20736475You are in pure euphoria right now. There are 0 guarantees this goes on for another year, or even another month.Investors will take guaranteed profits. They are millionaires for a reason.
>>20736250>P+D by who?Quite certainly an independent bunch who just picked ampl because it is very suitable. I don't think it really matters whether the seed investors are in on it or not, couple million bucks teetering on the edge of a dump is what it is regardless.
>>20736556This isn’t some 1m marketcap shitcoin that some Pajeet discord can manipulate
HELPMAYDAY MAYDAY
lol buy the dips guys lmfao
>>20736475the last time i thought about an investment the way that you are, i bagheld for -80% protect yourself anon, it's okay to sit out and watch. today will be volatile as fuck because of BTC, looming unlocks notwithstanding
>>20736601Indeed, this time it seems to be a telegram group of people who speak english properly. This shit has been all over /biz/ for the past 2 months.
Bobo is really taking it this far? Honestly thought he was finished when it settled for a bit at $2.16.
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>20736487>It is absolutely not the first anon. That is not how AMPL works at all.uhh it can be and if it succeeds it will be the most common use casein this case they gave people % market cap instead of # of ampl's. either one would be reasonable. thank you for clarifying.
Very comfy if $1.80 holds all day long$1.40 is where I would start crying a little bit>>20735661God bless youhow many hours until the seed investors domp eet?
I'm using my BTC profits to buy more AMPL
>People thinking /biz/ took a loss on thisIt's been shilled since a couple of months ago and it was shilled nonstop for 2 weeks. If you lost money on this, You're ngmi.
>>20732196not kidding: go to mexico. Nogales or some other town. Not El Paso area. Significantly cheaper. They do american quality work for order of magnitude less. Do your research, go to expat sites and ask around, and you will save a shit ton of money. My brother in law just came back with medications that would have cost something like 10k here in the states, but he paid I think 300 bucks OTC for the exact same bottles, prescriptions, shit, they came from the same factories. Don't bother with US healthcare system, it's an insurance bloated racket and it doesn't serve anyone, least of all you. It's a system that is not set up with your own best interests in mind. Take care of yourself.
>>20736475this line of thought simply doesn't hold after a x100 though
>>20736762see my other posts here, i think nobody knows
Although substantial, this is not necessarily the end.Prepare your anus if it goes below $1.40 as >>20736762 said
Is it recovering? Tell me what to do bros!!!
>>20736955either it is or its a deadcat bounce right now, check on uniswap.vision
>>20736955I'm gonna wait a couple of 15 minutes candles before going in. Too early to be sure.
Is is... is it over?
I'm ready
>>20737013it looks over for now but if the seed investor FUD holds then we are truly fucked. won't get much cheaper than right now though if you want to risk it do it now
the music has stopped, people are running for the exits.textbook ponzi
>>20736931Reminds me of that time I held STA down to the very bottom from 15c. I really wonder what's going to happen.
>>20737050But people are buying back?
>>20736991it will further dumpinvestor tokens will unlock in 2 hours.
my lord, so many newfags and double digit iq fud
I hope it dumps more so I can buy.
i just sold, sorry amplchads
>>20737079most of the dumb money knows nothing about investor unlock schedules, and the team might fuck with the investor payouts to keep the music playing. but these few hours right now are historical investor payout time so be careful and keep watching etherscan
>>20736923do we know the exact day and hour every month seed investors get tokens unlocked?need to prepare for this fuckery next time
>>20737058STA hack fucked my ass too anon
>>20737114no it's manual fuckery. best you can do is monitor the investor wallet for movements with the site/tool of your choice.
>>20736687
aaaaaaand we're back. AMPL will NEVER fall under $2 again.
>people actually fell for the token unlock FUDNGMI
>>20737165Total Liquidity (Untracked)$40.823.807-6.47%
>>20737192it is yet to come my fren but I hope you are right that it's just FUD
>>20737234Investors are smarter than everyone here, if you think they would purposely crash the market further instead of slowly riding their investment at the top of 750m or 800m market cap they are sincerely retarded.
>>20732405Love this post bro!I’m praying that you make it. It’s not easy to hold on. What made you hold so tight?
>>20732405>>20737263peak ponzi victimswhen you find yourself lying in bed dreaming and calculating your guaranteed future x1000s with compounding gains calculators, you know that it's too good to be true anons
>>20737258they will sell free tokens over time and market dump a few millions.that's smart
I went through two dumps and held. I can't believe I got shaken out near the bottom. Should've known better.
No FUD, but I thought AMPL was uncorrelated to BTC, and shouldn't dump when the rest of the alts do?Like it is right now...
>>20737305fuck, guilty. the dopamine from (your link stack)*1000 wasn't hitting the same, so i resorted to AMPL compound calculations for the next two months/how long to break even on token=dollars i put in etc. let me live.
>>20737305this.If I just hold out a little longer...This is your mind on ponzithey're about to lose it all.
>>207373931) it's not big enough for that2) this is not what correlation means, if it would always move in the opposite direction of bitcoin it would not be uncorrelated3) dump is because a cycle is (almost) over and investor payouts are historically coming up. you can gamble now to buy back in at a potential x1,5 for today at the risk of getting wojak'd -90% if they do not fuck over their investors
>>20737258>Investors are smarter than everyone here..and so they will know the difference between unrealized and realized gains. Right now there's 60k eth that can be had, guaranteed, everything else is uncertain.
>>20737393>uncorrelated to BTCUncorrelated to BTC is not the same as uncorrelated to alts
>>20737467>>20737481Thanks, guys. Seems I need to do a bit more reading on this thing, and continue to HODL!
I have another question. When I see things like, "it's a coordinated dump to shake out weak hands" - how exactly is it coordinated?I mean, unless the whales are all friends on WhatsApp haha, it is just a case of a couple of big sell setting off an alarm and a load more whales see the pattern and follow? :/
Market psychology, nothing else. It's a healthy market cap correction, now we go to 1B, that's it.
>>20737671Whales do coordinate. Whether its via whatsapp or discord, it makes no difference.Extremely rich people speak to each other on a daily, if not hourly, basis. To coordinate buys and sells.
>>20737715they use the link shadowfork network afaik
>>20737715Those bastards *shakes fist in direction of ocean*
>>20737475Only time can tell, but AMPL isn't dead yet, not by a long shot.
Going up -> 1,80 euro
Weak hands shaken out. Let's talk about tonight's rebase. Another 1k ampl injected in my vaines
if you think investors will get paid without any fuckery and are scared, right this second is a good time to get off before the next whale exitsif you think this is baseless nothingburger FUD and investors will get cucked then hold
>>20738078I will be certifiably pissed if AMPL kikes their investors to keep the music playing today. It would be unfair to them, and to anyone intelligent enough to research the token distribution and act accordingly
It just dumped upward 30% ... hope yall got your ropes ready lol
>>20737715>source: dude trust me lol
at least take out enough profit so losing the rest would not make you kill yourselves
>>20738225>It would be unfair to them, and to anyone intelligent enough to research the token distribution and act accordingly>getting mad because you tried to swing the token unlock FUD and got priced out
>>20737715How do the whales get in contact with each other in the first place? Are they all VC chads who go to the same business conferences?
>>20732050>>20732103>>20732169WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GAY ASS FUD. THEY ARE LITERALLY INCENTIVIZED TO FUCKING SELL THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE FUCKING PROTOCOL IF THEY DIDNT SELL THEN THE PRICE WOULD NOT DROP WTF ARE YOU RETARDS THINKING AMPL IS NOT FOR HOLDING ITS FOR USING YOU FUCKIN NIMWITS
>>20732405> thats too fucking absurd to even think that it really could be possible that i'm gonna flip my thousand bucks into few million $Not that I don't believe it can happen, but you should probably take some profit before this all crashes down. As interesting as this project is it honestly seems way too good to be true. Your money ofc, but don't let greed make you miss out on good amount of profit if this goes way south.
>>20738508>How do the whales get in contact with each other in the first place? Are they all VC chads who go to the same business conferences?dude, the marketcap was 2 million for 2 years. the founder was ceo of coinbase old room mate in college. he gave the ceo some free tokens and the ceo put his name next to the project. he personally invested instead of coinbase because its a pnd. he didnt want to ruins coinbase reputations. it's jsut an erc20 man. they bought up the whole supply for only 2m dollars. then pumped it 400x in a week.
>>20732196>I need like 30k in dentistry so it does cause me to lose sleep.Holy fuck man, take a vacation to Croatia and you can have it all done for like $2.5k
