This stuff happens all the time. I drank too much at s company function and cussed out my skip level boss in front of some people. Went into the office on Monday, quick apology, and went back to work as normal from then on.

When you go in on Monday tell your boss you’ve been drinking too much lately. Tell him all the stress from covid and politics has been getting to you and you haven’t been handling it well. And then most importantly do you best to act normal and calm from then on. Make a conscious effort to be normal and calm. The greatest cure to a social fuck up is being normal afterwards. If you act normal everyone will just think you had a bad day and let it go eventually.

When Chainlink announced that they would be on coinbase I got so fucking drunk that I was apparently slamming into random walls in my house while I was naked. I kept yelling in joy and my drunk step dad eventually had enough and he choke slammed me against the wall. I started to shout at him to kill me and he choked me out. The next day my mom told me what happened and I just played if off and acted normal. Everything has been great since.
