Imagine building a coin that anyone can just put whatever shit they want right onto your protocol layer, making it extremely difficult to reach global consensus, forcing nodes to have issues validating from genesis and having to rely on trusted parties to sync from, and because your shitty smart contacts are not mathematically deterministic, you have to invent the concept of gas to guess how much resources your execution needs.
Bitcoin second layer and deterministic smart contacts with Simplicity language make eth irrelevant.
Eth have even had a real civil war yet. DAO didn't count because it happened too early, but is foreshadowing. When it finally happens it will be even uglier than the block size debate which btc has in their rear view mirror and cruising past. Eth is headed for destruction
