Look into Schnorr, MAST, Taproot, Tapscript, Utreexo, SIGHASH_NOINPUT, RSK, and eltoo. It isn't going anywhere. What do you think happens to all of these shitcoins when Bitcoin drivechains can do the same thing but with native hashrate, native Bitcoin, and perfectly Solidity cross-compatibility? They die and they die very quickly.

Keep your eyes on the long term with Bitcoin. Everything else is a moonshot gamble for the short term except for maybe Ethereum.
