I wish I had standing desk kind of money...

Want to buy me one? I'll get a $500 model to save you money OP ;)

Check out Autonomous.ai or Herman Miller for the best chairs ;)

but seriously the whole idea is to avoid using chairs, and these meme miller chairs go for like $600 a pop

I never use mine, except when I have to shit and don't want to go, then I sometimes stand because it's easier to hold the shit back.

Why not just tilt your monitor up and stand at your desk. I do it all the time- standing sucks after a while.

>> No.20673438

>>20672752
You spent $800 on a desk, why wouldnt a chair cost as much? If anything the chair requires more work to create.

Nah nig im srs. send it.

also you can switch between sitting and standing.. thats the whole point of it being adjustable, if you only want to stand then build a tal desk for $50 lol.

>> No.20673487

its a meme. the most important thing is having the screen equal height to your correct sitting posture so you can maintain correct posture while at your desk. laptop stands are a godsend

Lmao Herman Miller. An office master PT69 with a 6” cyl and custom armrests is 1/2 the price and way fucking better. Triple paddles for adjustments. Get the PT78 if you are tall.

This. Also, look at the OP image. Imagine the wrist strain using that mouse and keyboard after 8 hours of work. He’s in terrible wrist flexion. You want the wrist to be level with your forearm and your elbow at near 90 degrees. Standing desks are mostly a meme but they can be useful when you experience pain while sitting.

>> No.20673582

Definitely a meme, me and my colleagues work standing on our feet for 10 hours a day 5 days a week and they are still fat, unhealthy retards with bad posture and back pain

That's what makes me laugh when I read those retarded lists of the magical benefits of a standing desk

You're an ergonomics specialist?

I was hoping for a chair with a headrest

>> No.20673623

>>20672577
yeah it's a meme. you can achieve the same thing by putting a side table on top of your regular desk.

>> No.20673636

>>20673582
lol, that's not the desks fault, they're just fat retards.

i've never heard of any magical benefits, its simple ergonomics...
>>20673556
>>20673487 Both sum up the reasons for a standing desk.

I like to switch between sitting and standing, also being able to get it to the perfect height no matter what is nice.
