Schiff despises Bitcoin just as much as ever, rightly so, since it's a ponzi-scheme. While BTC buyers were making literally no money from their investment, those of us who bought the GDXJ were going up 200%. Those of us who bought small-caps are up 5x, 10x, 20x, sometimes even higher in some cases. After Sprott bought FVL, for example, it went up 40x. Newrange Gold looks as if it is about to do the same thing. Once people realize the money to be made in gold and silver stocks they will flock out of crypto, and gold will be like crypto in 2017, as Lobo Tiggre has been pointing out for months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Co9ZxYa6A

Mining stocks are not. Mining stocks are the most undervalued assets in the world, even more so than gold and silver. GDXJ needs to go 3x higher simply to catch up with where it was in 2011, when gold was at an equivalent price. Then gold, in this bull market, is going at least 3x higher to reach its $1900 nominal peak in real terms; so even somebody who guys the mid-tier GDXJ and SILJ ETFs is going to make 10x their money. When it comes to the small-caps, 100x and 150x gains are going to be made. 150x is normal for silver juniors in a PM bull market. First Majestic went 150x from 2001-2011.

It's literally a steal of lifetime. Same with SILJ. Can you imagine what will happen when these robinhood zoomers discover how cheap the mining stocks are. Kek. I got 100 shares of GDX. 200 shares of SILJ and 500 shares of AG. 5LBs of Physical silver and 1.25BTC. Sad the millennials are seeking stores of value and they don't even know it. I am very happy to see that I was able to influence somebody so early. Thank you for your kind words. The reason why I have been trying to hard to get people here to invest in PMs is because 4chan is generally pro-free speech, anti-authoritarian, pro-free market, so the stronger people here become, the better they will be able to resist what lies ahead, whether it be tyranny from governments or insurrection by communists. I could see in February that the governments of the world would try to blame this collapse on the lockdowns instead of their failed economic policies, and double down on their tyranny to cover themselves from justice, and I did not want to let them get away with it.

Yes, people do not realize the value of the miners yet, but they will soon. Especially because the miners are going up today while the mainstream stocks are crashing. Not unexpected on the basis of historical precedent.

It's currency crisis and major inflation insurance. I see the gold and silver miner stocks as halfway between, they can still make me a return, but are also providing insurance. So I accept a lower return for better hedge against currency crisis and very high inflation. I'm 60% in crypto and that's where I want to see my big gains. This is unironically the issue with Schiff:
He insists people exit fiat, but doesn't get in to crypto...

As everyone else is saying here, PMs are a hedge against a devaluation of fiat, but crypto also is a hedge against the same thing.
The difference between the two of them is that it takes Au (or even Ag) years upon years to really manifest, whereas cryptos are so volatile that they moon sometimes in a matter of days.

All of the morans coming here and pretending their PMs or scam points (stocks) could do anything of the sort are deluding themselves beyond repair.

Crypto is a joke. Had its bull market already in 2017. A few coins worth investing a little bit of one's money in for the fundamentals (BCH, ETH, XMR), but, upon the whole, a complete waste of time when 10x, 50x, and 100x gains in precious metals are a sure thing.

They are very risky, so that's probably why he doesn't advise them. He caters to people fleeing to safety from something impending. But I do think it's a good idea to assess one's risk appetite and find the areas where you can make money. Crypto is a place to make a LOT of money fast. You can also lose a lot fast. It's not for everyone. But unless society breaks down to the point where we don't even have the internet, then blockchain will absolutely be part of the future. Yes, we can have currency crises and a depression, but technology will still advance and blockchain will be adopted in some form or another. Long term, some blue chip cryptos have the potential to come out the other side of this as being fantastic long term holds. We have no idea how things will really play out, so we are just putting money on horses at this point, but in the short term, there is a lot of money to be made as long as you know it go very badly.

But that anon who is talking about miner stocks is right on. They have made huge gains since March and will continue to be a good hedge with good gains.

Stablecoins are specifically designed tools to help retain value of gains.
You simply ride the volatile wave and exit to stablecoins (multiple, mind you, because you're not a retard).
From there, you assess the worth of abandoning risk and moving your stacks to PMs to HODL long term.
Now you understand the value of services that offer crypto to PM transitions.

Schiff not comprehending this trading pattern is where he fails.
Yes, he knows a lot more about the entirety of economics than I'll ever care to understand, but people not seeing this after looking at the crypto space and other adjacent economic spaces for a mere year are failing themselves. This play is super simple and super easy.

I'm really not that smart, but it surprises me to see how some people don't understand the obviousness of this pattern...
