Why would i buy dying brick n' mortar in a saturated industry that appears to be flirting with another crash like it did in the 80s because there is so much crap to wade through to find anything decent, and the industry is about as anti-consumer as i have ever seen it at this point?

I haven't played vidya in years but i kept up with the news on it. It looks bad. I wouldn't rather buy all the airlines and cruises on speculation that most of them survive.

for now yes. but i feel due to a certain "awakening" within those who are not blind, there will eventually be a resurgence of "local retail" in smart, independent minded, responsible communities that are conservative and have, or aspire to, traditional american values

i stopped cold turkey from buying anything online besides PMs since the beginning of all this years covid, lockdown, financial crisis, BLM fiasco, clown world bullshit
I used to spend prob $5k/yr average on Amazon. I am not going back to supporting Amazon, ever.
If I cant find it or buy it locally, then I don't "need" it. That simple.

I am going to do everything i can to buy local and buy Made in USA. difficult i know. but many people i know feel the same. and its almost like a sea change coalescing beneath the surface.
could be a return to something great again

I used to love Gamestop because. But since im an old anon. They started to treat me weirdly, like i wasn't "one of them"
not fair how they treated adult gamers.
I demand reparations!
.they stole my adulthood!

Nick Mullen has some pretty good stories about this time at Gamestop, and the guy that Chris Chan maced at least brought us some joy.

This x1000. ONE time, I decide to drop into a Gamestop to see what the big deal was; even thought about making the purchase. It was over a decade ago, but I wanted to ask about an old PS2 game I used to play (Champions II).

The 7 foot tall nigger behind the counter was like "ain't nobody ever heard of dat shit". I was stunned, asked "could you maybe look in the computer" - got an "yeah I guess" - says very rudely "129.99, take it or leave it". I walked right the fuck out. The 3 400lb teenagers behind me fucking stunk anyway. Fuck Gamestop; I'm jerking off to them going bankrupt
