If you land a SPY $X ± $1 butterfly spread with 0.90 credit perfectly you have a 10-bagger.

Assume SPY will move at most ± 2.5% and likes to land on multiples of 5. So you have 315, 320, 325, and 330 targets.

If you risk $1k to make $10k with spreads centered on each of these targets, there should be a reasonable chance to close at least one of them favorably. These are better odds than lottery tickets.

The downside is intra-day assignment risk from ordering absolute shitloads of ITM options.

The mid-tier miners (GDXJ, SILJ) will tend to go up about 2.5x as fast as the underlying metals; hence, if silver goes to $100, then the miners should yield a 15x return. The small-caps are a different story; they have the potential to go 10x, 50x, 100x, at any moment. In the silver bull market of the 70s, the average small-cap silver miner went up 150x.

Alisdair Mcleod says that the system ma collapse before the end of this year, owing to an imminent banking crisis. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XliHE6QgljY; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9xeSOdr9Uc)) Other analysts say that it might keep going until 2023 or 2024. Interesting. This is an area I still know very little about. My first reaction was that the miners would lag behind the metals as the respective share prices on the miners themselves would need to "catch up" to the increased demand. Thanks for the content.

It's a little-known secret which I have been trying to spread here for some time now. The gains which the miners make in PM bull markets are absolutely astonishing. Infinitely more impressive than what you see in cryptocurrency. Lobo Tiggre believes that young people will realize this soon, and that resource stocks will become the next craze, just like cryptocurrency in 2017. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Co9ZxYa6A)) As an example of the gains which miners can make, Keith Neumeyer's First Majestic Silver went up 150x in the 00-2011 silver bull market. Small-cap silver miners like Silver One, Discovery Metals, Callinex Mines, Dolly Varden, McEwen Mining etc., may do the same thing this time also.

Intel is selling plenty of server chips right now
if they can't get their technical people to work to get next years' chips out, in a way that is competitive, a huge amount of intel's business could be gone in 3 years.
they've been struggling with their fabs for five years now, and their people haven't become any smarter (their engineers are either old dinosaurs, diversity hires, or pajeets)

In my opinion the stock dropped because a lot of the S&P 500 inclusion was already priced in and the pump leading up to earnings was institutions buying in advance of it. There was a lot of options gambling going on and market makers stood to lose a lot of money if it pumped after earnings so I think that they manipulated the price and helped cause the drop. Most of the drop was macro related, not necessarily a reflection of what people though of earnings. It's not usual for TSLA to 2x or 3X what the NASDAQ does.

As for where it goes from here, I don't know and I'm fed up trying to predict the movements of it. I was right about earnings being a beat but didn't manage to profit from it. I like $1500 as the floor, providing there's not another macro related crash tomorrow. TSLA moved a lot lately and maybe it needs some time to cool off before pushing ATH again.

they're not as far behind as people think they are. Intel's 10 nm is like TSM's 7 nm, and Intel's 7 nm is like 5 nm. When Jim Keller was still in Intel, there was actually some hope that Intel will stop bleeding market share.
I wouldn't touch intel right now, but they can still turn this shit around if they could just stop fucking around. However, at this rate AMD's ridiculous PE ratio will actually be justified.

don't just blindly buy into a semiconductor manufacturer, their margins are smaller than other tech shit. TSM is more of an anomaly because they're really good at it.

In absolute numbers, Tesla delivered more EVs than any other company this year. Comparing them to ICE deliveries isn't useful when that industry is struggling to move into the future which is EV production. No one ever said major auto companies had trouble producing ICE cars, they have almost always been demand limited.

The GDXJ is still one third of what it ought to be, considering the price of gold. Look what its price was in 2011, and compare that with its price now. Then consider that the price of gold is going much higher--that it has to get, and will get to $4,800, to compare with its nominal peak of $1900 in real terms. This is why I say to expect a 10x gain in the GDXJ and SILJ. In terms of price, the miners are the most undervalued things in the entire world. Anybody who invests in them now is going to make a fortune.
