How hard is it to deploy the Dapp in terms of user experience? Did you try on the sidechain?

If so, then you would know that it will increase profits massively.

Very much so. Here is an article on decentralized cloud computing by Forbes China discussing it.

https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&nv=1&pto=aue&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=auto&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://www.forbeschina.com/business/47734&usg=ALkJrhiBvMn4VVTuRIm6CJ6gCJdBxh_BKA

And here is an unbiased article, unrelated to iexec, that talks about the benefits of decentralized cloud computing
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.csoonline.com/article/3405439/how-a-decentralized-cloud-model-may-increase-security-privacy.amp.html

It's inevitable and iexec leads the space. Sorry for not just giving you an answer but theres so much information related to that question.

>What's to stop a cloud giant from replicating what iexec has done?
A few things.
Remember when Facebook tried creating Libra? Kek.

iExec has technically been in dev for 19 years, good luck out-devving them on their main project. I'd take the bet that iExec gets a powerful network before any cloud giant could.

It wouldn't make sense for them to make their own version of iExec because it's easier for them to just adopt iExec since it's already a complete product, costs them nothing besides initial staking cost(buying RLC to stake), they actually gain profit by using iExec on the backend, and using iExec means it's completely trustless so they can collaborate with other big cloud giants which will make them even MORE money.

Imagine google makes an iExec, do you really think that Microsoft, Amazon, etc would want to use it? They would have doubts and it would be a nightmare overall. It wouldn't be considered fully decentralized because Google is far too powerful and controlling as it is.

There's probably more reasons.

iExec itself has only been worked on for maybe 5-6 years? Pretty normal for something like this.

Gilles however, has been a grid computing genius since 2001, when he made XtremwebHEP, which is used at CERN.

Methanon here. Problem is there's still not enough people who like trannies, that's why we need to keep educating them about the virtues of trangender women. How they smell better, they treat you better, they look better and they fuck better than the so called "real women". Once we get people to embrace sucking girl's dicks, RLC will pump instantly cause there won't be more SUPERTRANNE DELUXE DUMP PARTY but SUPERTRANNE DELUXE PUMP PARTY.
