I don't need to justify the PE, the PE is so high because people are betting on the future of the industry and spiking the price. That's the reason why they're buying TSLA and not Toyota. It's impossible for it to have this much interest in it and still be undervalued.

At the end of the day, TSLA is more of a autonomous driving play than anything. Waymo was valued at 200 billion before the analyst realized that they're losing to Tesla. Were you complaining about that?

It's fairly common for TSLA to sell off after earnings but usually it goes up around 10% first. I think a lot of the S&P 500 inclusion was already priced in and Wall Street decided to pin the price low so they didn't didn't lose a ton of money from all the options gambling that was going on.
