Hello World.

FYI though to anybody entering the thread. The crypto ecosystem around developers is typically garbage. For example running a chainlink dev environment crashed my machine since the amount of packages and binaries to be downloaded was too big. Furthermore LINK costs $0.83 per request to oracle and on top of that node operators have to pay gas fees. IMO all coins are inflated in terms of market size. I will be impressed if iExec executes the job, and the problem they are trying to solve is 10x harder than a lot of the other problems in crypto. I'm not sure how many workers they have online but it is probably dependent on that.

>> No.20588884

Like 99% of things related to crypto, it probably is just not gonna work.

Looks like the job has failed. It's probably because there's are no workers to pick it up and process it. Anyhow I have a feeling that iExec is less worried about consumer facing issues right now as they have been planning with enterprise on how to integrate. Thanks for tuning in and stay tuned for new updates.. I will probably start posting more frequent technical analysis like this across other crypto assets.

They're deploying the V5 as we speak, you've picked the literal worst moment to process a job this year.

That's why the pool page and dapp page are blank

I agree with this. I noticed that within the past 24 hrs they made changes to their documentation so this indicates that they may be updating their system. My overall sentiment towards iExec is optimistic still in case anybody is wondering. :)
