How do I go about learning this? I have similar ideas about stalking certain addresses in low cap DeFi that are profitable if you wanted to collaborate. But if not I just want to create my own. Sorry for the delayed response anon, wanted to triple check I edited out any important information here.
Anyways, here are my 2 python scripts. They're pretty shitty. But they get the job done. You need to know how to work with excel, too. In order to make the output useful.

I'm sure this could be made 100x better, but I use python - beautifulsoup and requests, and ethplorer, because it was easier for me to use their API at the start and i configured my webscraper to ONLY work with ethplorers HTML

Anyways, enjoy. As I said its shit code. But if you want to copy paste it, it will work. Just need to understand python to actually modify it to meet the needs of whatever coins you want, but its fully dynamic.

NP. Just mentioned them because at times it was difficult for me to use BS whereas Selenium made it easier (though it's much slower) since you're commanding a browser instead of using a tech with its own syntax.

My scripts use both BS and selenium for the record anon
I use a selenium webdriver to scrape physical ethplorer pages to accumulate a .csv file with a list of ethereum addresses containing a certain coin. (Top 100 holders, top 1,000 holders, top 10,000 holders etc. You can decide the amount). I use beautifulsoup to extract ONLY the ethereum addresses from each webpage.

And then I query ethplorers API one address at a time, reading from the aforementioned csv file to generate a .csv file containing each address, every coin in that address, and the quantity of each coin in that address.

I then use some shitty excel formulas to generate graphs based on most held, highest value held, etc.

I guarantee 99% of the population would have a hard time grasping it initially.

I know I can do it myself but that information has to come from somewhere. (You learned it from someone else who learned it from someone else) So having the code in front of me is a very good start.

>> No.20542191

If any of you anons get interested in doing that and end up actually pulling the trigger, you’re only a few steps away from being able to write external adapters cause they are pretty similar. Just keep that in mind, this could be an opportunity to make money.

It's also got me really interested in ways I can expand upon my knowledge of coding to benefit myself.

One such idea I am now thinking about way too much, enough to stop me from falling asleep, is monitoring the Uniswap Router contract and front-running large buys by putting in my own buys but with more gas
Technically, it should be possible as all pending tx's are viewable on the ETH ledger.

Say a whale puts in an order for $15K USD worth of DMG or whatever other Uniswap meme you want, my script monitors the Uniswap contract and notices this pending tx, then automatically executes a buy for say $500 worth of DMG but with way more gas then the whale who is pending a $15,000 buy.

Technically if it works, it should be free money, because they will drive the price up based on slippage.
Lots of things to consider, and if anyone jacks this idea from me, feel free. Just think of me in your mansion in 5 years, i hope we all make it
