It's not a scam when you accept someone's offers to take a set amount of your crypto in exchange for a good. It's a scam when they back out because they decided after the fact that it was too "volatile." That's the kind of thing you consider before you take their money, not after. After, all you can do is give the customer what they paid for.

Hi Leo,

I'm not sure what refund policy that is, but it isn't ours. Our terms and conditions are different. As for the reason of the refund, truth is the PND to BTC conversion fruited a horrific trade - I think all the orders on my end including yours came out to 30,000,000 coins which only resulted in 0.3 BTC. Total order amount was in the thousands. It didn't make sense. It is a shame too since I would have supported a new coin if it were a bit more stable than that.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience, but I was hoping for a little bit more stability than that as a merchant. Hope PND can turn things around!

Is it me or dogecoin becoming more and more serious? I find it worrisome.

When I went to /r/dogecoin month ago, it was full of silly and funny pictures. Now it behaves like bitcoin community. Way too serious.

It's been serious of late due to the drop and because people don't like seeing their investments (serious ones or otherwise) disappear. For some, it's their first crypto, and it scares them. Education will waylay that some, but there will always be the people going "We need to be a respected community! Stop memeing!"

There's still quite a few silly things though. >>206793 has the right idea. If it stays this way after the fork, then I might start to worry a little.

The hell are you talking about? Dogecoin's subreddit is still full of memes. People are still having fun. However, the current depression was a call to seriousness where is needed.

Although you want the coin to be fun, you can't "fun" everything. You must be serious during development. In fact, the random block reward, which was supposed to be a silly aspect of the coin, turned out to screw us over. It should have been removed LONG ago. We also need to be more serious during PR. We can't expect to be taken seriously when we create a website for a charity drive that can't be read because it's written in dogespeak ffs.

Fuck cryptsy, every time there is a pump this shit happens.
Meanwhile low sell orders get stuck on the wall confusing people and driving the price down, 1 DOGE sell orders go through mysteriously while 100 DOGE is the minimum.
