Hi /Biz/

I have been doing a lot of research on XRP and the company Ripple.

From what I have concluded this coin has potential to be insanely valuable. From what they are trying to achieve in the currently global financal issue, I honestly believe they have a big chance to become a standard.

There has been talks from Central Banks, from the Goverment Fed about digitalisation.

I recon after next week due to the Fed report being released this week buy at least 1k or 10k of XRP and forget about it.

I am doing this as a Friend. XRP will explode but way bigger than the 2017. At least $37.00 by Next year from my speculation.

I work of a hedge fund and there has been talks on acuring XRP tokens for future pools.

Welcome my fren. You have finally seen the light. XRP has extensive connections and will be a digital vehicle of value in the future of the remittance market. The thing is, what we see openly is only a fraction of how deeply XRP is really integrated i to the world financial infrastructure.

insider here

Time for a small update - central banks, FED, etc. want nothing to do with XRP, they like the concept but will do their own thing.

Things are going to change in ways most of you can't yet imagine, but XRP will NOT be a part of anything, in fact none of the currently existing crypto will have anything to do with anything.

Sorry. Plans change.

P.S. Get your shorts ready because tomorrow is going to be epic

Yes obviously that has been going on for a decade. Private key blockchain money has been around inside fintech and gov for so so very long. Central banks will issue their digital dollars and tokenize all the existing m1 and m2. It’ll probably be backed by silver in the USA, gold in other places. These conversions will require something to exchange them and settle between international markets. That’s the whole point of Xrp. It’s not a standard or a global reserve. It’s a medium of exchange...what money is supposed to be. The upside is so significant because people (institutions) will be buying and selling it as a means to settle it in a customers local market. Retail investor volume is low low. Imaging what reading volume would be if JAPAN settled the cost of a maersk imported from the USA.

Jesus, I get that it’s a long term and high risk thing but there isn’t a single other crypto firm with the connections, valuation, or people like ripple.

This is LITERALLY what fuels XRP. This post. It distills and encapsulates the XRP investor so acutely.

OP, for years people have been saying this same thing (people that invest in this coin invest for the reasons you've mentioned). This has been happening for 3 years since the bubble. And slowly XRP has been bleeding out as the banks haven't decided to buy your bags. You're not onto anything new here.

It's not as simple as you think, a paradigm shift from VISA into crypto is not a black and white decision even if XRP is faster/cheaper. A myriad of variables at play here. Would it be cool? Sure. Buy a small bag, don't expect to get it back and don't hold your breath.

Let’s do a thought experiment:
I am a government and I control my own currency. Currently, I have my own reserves and the people that I’ve chosen to be the elite have my currency in massive quantities and I give them more when I need them to help me out.
Now an upstart digital currency that I do not control begins and distributes its own tokens to the people who pay for it. They profit from this...I do not. I decide I need a digital currency. Why should I choose them? They have their own bag holders who would stand to join the elite and I have not blessed this. It could present issues.
Here’s a better proposition from my perspective, the one who has all the say: If your network is the best infrastructure, I will not adopt it. Rather, I will pay the owners of the network a decent payout, but the tech, and begin my own network from a new genesis block. I will tweet it so that it is not immutable and that I alone can override transactions, freeze assets, and do what I want...because that’s how this game works. There is no law above MY law. No protocol is above my law and outside my reach. I WILL NEVER surrender that power willingly, let alone give it to neets holding digital tokens hoping to get rich. I will issue my own, distribute to those who hold my paper currency so that no one except the people that I choose will be enriched. The game doesn’t change. The “reset” will not be one where I give away my power and my friends will be the ones who benefit most. I am the most legitimate force and my adoption will cause all validates to flock to my network as it will be the most legitimate.
Why do I adopt your token when I can just take your tech and utilize it for my own benefit without allowing any of the value to leak out unintentionally to bag holders? I make the rules and you have nothing that I cannot take if I want it.

You talking as if XRP is going to replace all of the money when it’s actually a bridge asset. The elites need that to be decentralized because absolutely nobody will trust a centralized coin that you just described. What’s going to happen is that each country will be creating their own digital asset which they have full control over, like a politically correct USDT.

Nah I agree with you on that; I’m only going on my own TA and recent news of XUMM updates and merchant adoption of XRP. None of the Mellon prophecy shit. At most this week should be rise to 0.26 to break out of the overall negative trend. But hey, could just fucking sink hard, it’s still tracing BTC price as far as I can tell, and that’s starting a bull run. Given price spike it could jump to $5 but that’s a random fucking guess at best.

lmao theres no such thing as a 51pct attack on xrp. all the validator nodes are on a list centrally maintained by Ripple. you dn't even know anything about the bag you hold. its one of the worst shitcoins there is.
>>20499830
Jeb has I think 8 billion XRP and about 1 billion has been dumped. soon his contracts will end (contracts that limit him to only dumping a few million a month ) . basically Jed will dump this to the floor and pump XLM. which wasn't an ICO and airdropped, also supply cut in half and inflation removed. if you like xrp tech look into xlm.

its unironically over for ripple tards

if you want the tech stack that started as XRP in your portfolio, your best bet is XLM.

XRP is a complete scam. Ripple controls 50pct of the supply and then the three or 4 founders were alse rewarded big amounts, Jed got 8 billion then two others also got a few Billions. All of them left/hate cripple now.

For anyone who thinks it will be "the standard" . or "reserver currency" must realise that XRP is an asset created and fully controlled by a U.S.A COMPANY. they are slave to the USA gov. do you really think after dollar ass reserve currency they will go with DOLLAR 2.0?

fucking xrp holders are so fucking stupid.

no one will accept dollar 2.0 as new reserve currency.

Ripple has no control of the XRP ledger you idiot. There are 24 validators and only 6 are Ripple staff. I do hold some XLM, but I have not seen any huge news as I do with XRP. XLM got cocky and tried to pitch itself as the digital dollar and instantly got shot down lmao.

The problem with XRP and XLM for that matter is there is no reason for them to become large value tokens. They are used as an intermediary between currencies, so the tokens could easily be set at any low arbitrary amount and they would still serve their purpose . They would be bought in high volume if the U.S. dollar collapsed, but they would also be sold in high value for money that was accepted for basic necessities. If I were to purchase I would purchase XLM because they are at least backed by IBM which gives them and their network more credibility, especially to boomers and big dollar investors like that Schiff guy looking to .pump the newest shitcoin.

Despite what Ripple fan boys say, not a single bank is using XRP. The only company that was in fact using XRP was Moneygram and that’s because Ripple bought a significant portion of their shares.
This is because in terms of technology, XRP is ancient like Bitcoin. Sure it's 1000x faster than BTC, but it's not programmable like ETH, which means you can't deploy smart contracts on it. Countries and banks won’t want to use someone else’s coin, they will want to be able to deploy their own currencies and stablecoins, and for that you need a blockchain that is programmable. This is really bad for XRP adoption.

There's some news that Ripple is planning to add smart contracts to XRP, but at this point it might just be too late. XLM already does everything XRP does while also being programmable, and there's now a dozen other blockchains around that are super fast and programmable, and ETH 2.0 will potentially be way faster than XRP while already having the majority of the DeFi market conquered. Add to that the fact that stablecoins have been proved to work really well and became really popular over the years, with some banks even starting to accept deposits in USDC.

At this point it just feels like Ripple is still stuck in 2013, they’re way behind the competition and just trying to catch up.
