Anyone who received the Zeus Capital email should be able to sue Nexo for illegal use of private data
They used the Nexo mailing list to market the Zeus Capital report, it is verifiable the code for ZC is copy pasta from the Nexo mailing list typeform code.
Also unsolicited spam containing what can be interpreted as market manipulation (including detailed instructions on how to OPEN a short) along with providing lib0elous information to compel individuals have second thoughts on the project. Clearly there is intense conflict of interest.
This is extremely serious

If you signed up with NEXO you likely agreed to receive emails in their TOS. If it was NEXO they didn’t sell your personal info. They didn’t break GDPR.

Writing a report on a cryptocurrency (bullish or bearish) with instructions on how to trade is not illegal or market manipulation. Every poster on biz would be in jail by now if it was. Also, even if it WERE market manipulation, cryptocurrencies are not registered securities, those laws do not apply.

None of the information in the repot was libelous. You cannot be charged with libel against an asset. It has to be against a person. The creator of this report used all their own assets and images and was not claiming to be someone else. Just because it was under the name zeuscapital does not mean it was fraudulently appearing as the other company, that claim was never made.


While this report was scummy and obviously for personal gain, you are wasting your money and breath trying to sue or pursue criminal charges. This is what short sellers do, the most renown short selling firms publish hit pieces like this against companies they are short, it is not illegal AT ALL.
